Bricks and Minifigs Grand Rapids offers a unique experience for those that love building and exploring with Lego. I am new to the hobby as an adult fan of lego, and really have felt welcomed by all the staff and owners to continue to explore and grow this new hobby.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable on Lego in general, as well as the used sets that they sell. They are able to recommend, refer, and explain how things might work with a given used set. They love to show the sets off, letting people truly understand what they are purchasing.

The Bulk purchase tables have been incredibly useful to me, as I am able to find replacement / missing parts for sets that I want to build. The selection is truly massive - and continues to grow. There is now a dedicated Technic parts area!

Having such a massive collection of minifigs in the display cabinets is always a joy to explore. There are many rare, and custom minifigs available for purchase. My daughter has frequently purchased accessories, animals, and other great additions like slides and base plates for her Lego collection.

My daughter has loved the build a mini fig area, and has made so many custom minifigs that we have lost count. The latest addition is the ability to build your own Friends minifigs. My daughter prefers the friends figures over the traditional lego minifigs so this is truly a wonderful addition.

The ability to have such a massive selection of new sets in addition to new is also something that we utilize. We've purchased brand new sets day of release from Bricks and Minifigs Grand Rapids (Botanicals releases).

I love seeing the custom MOC designs displayed by local builders. It is truly inspiring to see the pure creativity that others are able to achieve. It has directly led to me expanding my builds and seeing creative ways to put things together!

We also had my daughters seventh birthday at Bricks and Minifigs - and the employee who ran our party made such a memorable experience for my daughter and the entire party. She was focused on ensuring that all the children had a day to remember and were having fun the entire time. Utilizing a race track to allow the participants to build and then race eachother is a great idea. I didn't have to decorate or clean anything up - it was so amazing.

I can't wait to see what comes next with Bricks and Minifigs...

Lego fun!

Fill a container of bulk bricks - $15: My son bought a half gallon or so sized container which you can bring back for a refill on Tuesdays for $15. You can do it any other day, but it costs more. So my son keeps asking to go back every Tuesday and we have done so several times. It is an adventure to find different kinds of Legos in their table setups including bricks, hinges, smooth pieces, wheels, Technic, windows, and many more. They even have Duplo pieces. The minifigure pieces are in a separate bin and have different prices. They also have a bin of shame for when you find non-Lego brand pieces.

Service: Always very pleasant! They are helpful and kind.

Atmosphere: Bright and cheerful. There are many other current Lego sets available for purchase. They also have older and used sets already assembled for sale at VERY fair prices.

It is posted that you are not allowed to carry.

Conclusion: A wonderful place for kids (and adults) to get Lego pieces and sets. It is unique from an official Lego store in that they sell used Legos and Lego sets which is a great advantage.

Visited on Tuesday afternoons...

Came here on grand opening day and I’m glad I came as early as I did because the line extended all the way out to sushi Kuni and beyond. The waiting experience was far better than anything I’ve waited for before. The owners came out and greeted us all and gave us easy handwarmers since it was cold outside. They had complimentary hot chocolate and coffee and provided us all with Dunkin’ Donuts. It was very good hospitality to provide this to a crowd as large as this one before opening. Once we got inside i was like a kid in a candy store again. Mini figs and Lego sets as far as the eye could see. Even had sets that i haven’t seen in stores before. The transition from browsing to purchasing was very smooth and you bet I’ll be back here again when new sets...

We love going to Bricks & Minifigs! They sell a wide variety of new sets but our favorite part is the ability to search through the giant table of sorted bulk pieces, which is a fun sensory experience on its own! My son always has an idea of a build he wants to create and can choose from a variety of different sized containers to fill. The staff are always super friendly and very helpful!
