Dollar General — Local services in Grandview

Worst store in Grandview! Seriously, 4 registers and yet all the self check out registers are unavailable. This has been this way for months! I went in to buy shampoo and had to stand in line for 20 mins while the cashier has a full blown conversation. I mean customer service is important, but when there is a line in a store with no AC and ya wanna yap session the least you can do is allow those with card pay option to use the friggen self check out.. maybe I'm cranky idk. What I do know is there are self checkout registers and the owner just wont allow them to be used. Next time I will just spend 12$ on the same shampoo at Safeway....

Was in there memorial weekend, very elderly gentleman stood in line for very long time w 2 cans of soda. He made it to cashier and his cans would not scan. They (2 females) treated him like it was his fault. Let him stand there for few minutes before saying they can't sell the pop because it's not scanning.
