Extremely pleasant place to shop. I went here with my wife and daughter. PLUS: There is a play area for kids to stay busy while in a mostly-contained space so parents are able to shop without distraction. And not right by the front door, for those who may be concerned with leaving your child of appropriate age, unattended. And half walls...for open sightlines. Very nice feature. It appeared clean and at least decently maintained, unlike many fast food play areas we've all NOT allowed our children to enter.

The selection of display models is quite large (we went in browsing all six majors: stove/range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave (ove-the-range style), and washer/dryer combos). This includes an area for discounted items. Your typical "scratch and dent" issues.

Major brands that I recall: Whirlpool & GE ... there were others, but those seemed to be their majors.

The price ranges were fair to high-middle range...again, this is on display models. I am sure they would be able to get you something in the upper echelon, should you desire.

Lasly, the sales people were knowledgeable and RESPECTFUL. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Yes, please greet me and ask if I , and thank you. However, if I say I am would like to simply browse...allow me to do so. I am an intelligent and capable individual. If I have questions I can, and will, find you to ask for further assistance. And please...don't hover! Their sales people passed with flying colors. We were greeted, allowed to peruse and discuss wirhout interruption, and willingly helped with details and suggestions when sought out. THANK YOU!

We did not end up buying anything, but Elders will certainly be given a call to put in their bid once a full and informed decision has been reached.

Our dishwasher suddenly stopped working; no power to it. I "fiddled" with it and got it working temporarily, then it died again. On a whim, I stopped by Elders on my way home from work one day, as that's where we bought it ... like 5 years ago. I mentioned the issue to Jennifer. She suggested a place and took down my info. I called the place she suggested, but was less than impressed, and just waited, trying to figure out my next step. A week later or so, dishwater still not working, I got a random call from Jennifer. A repair tech rep was at their place and she mentioned my situation. The repair tech said it COULD simply be that the dishwasher needed a software update. WHAT? I'd never have known that as I was looking up online how to fix it and that never came up. With the tech still there, Jennifer called me up and had me walk her through, with the tech, what my issue was. She helped me set up an appt. with that specific tech and confirmed I wouldn't be charged if that wasn't the issue as I was worried about that. The tech came out that weekend and, sure enough, was able to fix the dishwasher with a simple software update. Apparently that's been an issue with this particular model/year. If not for Jennifer, I'd have spent hundreds on unnecessary part(s), frustrated hours more trying to fix it, purchased a new one, or I'd still be washing dishes by hand! Our dryer broke down on a Friday night. We looked around online at local places and everybody was priced about the same. The issue was no one had stock in store. Even places with a showroom, we were told we wouldn't be able to buy and load the appliance same day. This was an issue because we do a lot of laundry at our house. We had purchased from Elders Appliance in the past so Saturday morning we stopped in to look and see what they had in store. We were helped right away. Asked what we were looking for and told the best deal within 5 minutes! We made sure to ask if we could take it home same day. (Absolutely) We found exactly what we were looking for: gas front load large capacity dryer manufactured in the USA. The cost was about 65% less than the other places we looked at. And it was brand new - not even from the scratch and dent section either! Our salesman was old school, and I appreciate a straight shooter. He was friendly and knowledgeable. His name is Rick. The amount we were planning on spending elsewhere also got us a chest freezer here. We walked out with twice as much for the same price. Our dryer was home and hooked up and drying our clothes the same day. The whole experience at the store was about half an hour. Rick was truly great at pinpointing our needs. He even had the door reversed for us so it opened from right to left instead of left to right. Next time we need an appliance...
