There were not enough BBQ stands, only 4 stands, we waited in line for 45 minutes only to be told upon ordering that they were totally out of pulled pork, and ribs. So we had to get back in another line, another 45 minute wait. This was Saturday at 3, and they were already running out of food?!!! It was really hot out out, when I finally got my ribs, it cost 13 tickets, each ticket cost $1.50 A rib platter at a festival cost me $16.50. I got it from Maws BBQ, Danish ribs were Superb!! Read morePros: Free Parking! Free live bands! Lots of BBQ'd foods to chose from. Lots of eating tables centered between all the food booths. Staff & vendors are friendly. Portable rest rooms close. Car show has some great looking rides to get close too.
Cons: All purchases are done with tickets only. Each tickets equals $1.50. Craft vendors were few although the event advertised like there were to be many.
Summary: Good place to enjoy live music while eating different types of BBQ foods and seeing some good looking cars
Suggest walking thru all the food vendors before deciding what to eat and then buy the amount of tickets to cover what you want.
This is a fund raiser, but no sense in buying more tickets then...
