C & D Short Stop Market — Local services in Grants Pass

I used to shop here all the time when I lived on G street in January- April begining of this year. The gentlemen who worked there were fabulous and kind. I went into the market today and asked an older, heavyset, grey-haired women if they served Biscuits and Gravy she looks away and then looks back and me and says "no" (they do) and so I respond (not in the mood to argue) "Okay, ill get a bacon breakfast sandwich instead." She gives me this look as if im an idiot and barks "muffin or croissant". I tell her my preferred choice. Got a chocolate milk and then waited in line. When it was my turn she rung up my chocolate milk without my breakfast sandwich. So I reminded her I also got a sandwich. She responded "Yeah I know he is back there making it right now." (It was in the microwave, they are premade) I looked at her kind of funny and said "Well I still would like to pay for it". She then takes it out of the microwave in front of me after telling me someone was in the back making it. And rung it up with my milk. I felt super irritated after leaving. She was rude the whole time FOR NO REASON. Im still confused. Told my boyfriend what happened, who goes to the same market and he said "they are all rude in there now". Too bad. I will not be...

I wish I could give no stars. I live down the road and go there at least 3 times a day. This morning my fiance and I once again got insulted being asked " does your women ever cook" when asking for biscuits and gravy, (like I get this for my 2 year old daughter) That's the second time I've have been asked that by the same women. It’s always the same one being disrespectful and unprofessional. I don't come there to get judged if I could report her I would. I know the manager Marion and she would be disgusted by...

Awesome store! The store is clean and the people who work there are friendly and upbeat. The food is great and they make their ranch dressing the old fashion way (yummm)... fair prices, oregon lottery is sold there, fountain sodas are .99 cents for a large soda and its the big one. They make sanwiches and other great food in their deli. Hot and cold....
