In the heart of downtown Grants Pass, Perez Kitchen & Bar delivers an experience where refined comfort food meets heartfelt hospitality. Every detail on the plate reflects intention and care, beginning with the standout Italian Breakfast Sandwich—a rich medley of fried egg, capicola, bacon, mozzarella, harissa, spinach, and onion, layered on a flaky, house-made biscuit. It’s bold, savory, and beautifully balanced.

Equally impressive is the Kneel Down Bread, a tamale-style loaf of cornmeal, herbs, egg, and milk, steamed in a corn husk and served with whipped honey butter. The texture is tender, the flavor deeply comforting—an inventive nod to tradition.

And then there are the house-made potato chips: perfectly crisp, delicately seasoned, and utterly addictive. So good, in fact, that Chef Aaron personally offered us a bag to take home—a gesture that speaks volumes about his generosity and passion for his craft. His warmth is present in every interaction, but more importantly, it’s infused into every dish.

Perez Kitchen & Bar is more than a restaurant—it’s a love letter to elevated comfort, where each bite feels like it was made just for you. A must-visit for those who appreciate thoughtful cooking with true...

Really wanted to like this place . Wanted to try for a long time. I called in an order for chicken and spinach salad for a specific time as I had an interview after work . When I got there they hadnt even started it. Then they told me 5 minutes and it wound up being 15. They almost forgot to include my chicken. The chicken was a cheap rubbery reconstituted party and was kind of burnt and tough plus they cut it into pieces way too big for a salad. Salad was not great not terrible. I wish I just spent my money somewhere else . Maybe their other dishes are better. I just thought from the website that it would be good , special foodie food but it just seemed like a bar salad not worth what I paid plus they messed up my schedule and I only had a few minutes to shovel it down instead of the time I planned. And the receipt they gave me did have the pick up time on it, they just ignored it. I called the order in and they told me no problem and I left them plenty of time , above...

What an absolute delight! I wasn't sure what to expect walking into this place, but I left completely blown away. The creativity behind each dish and each drink is next-level—beautifully plated, inventive, and full of surprising combinations that actually work. Often, places try to be clever and miss out on the food and cocktails truly tasting good, but not here. Every bite was as delicious as it was imaginative.

What really amazed me was finding food of this caliber in Grants Pass, which is not exactly known for avant-garde cuisine.

The flavors were bold but balanced, the ingredients clearly high-quality, and the menu—while adventurous—still felt cohesive and deeply satisfying. The staff service and ambiance were all excellent as well, but even if they weren't, I would still go back for the food. Favorites:

So listen… I came for dinner, but what I got was a culinary awakening. We ordered the Fry Bread Tacos and when I say they were WET 💦—I mean saucier than a telenovela finale. The adobo pork was tender, juicy, and practically melting into the fry bread like it had nothing else to do but bless my tastebuds. Add in the pico, pickled onions, pecorino sprinkle, and a dramatic lime squeeze? Chef’s kiss. 💋🌮 Shoutout to my taco muse, Krystal, who helped me find the perfect words to describe this life-changing experience. Without her, I’d just be staring into the distance whispering “delicious” on repeat like a broken record. Final score: 20/10, would cancel all future plans to eat these again. Perez Kitchen understood the assignment and gave it extra credit. 🙌

Casual atmosphere. Came for an al fresco dining experience with my dog. The $16 cheese burger and seasoned fries were good. Portion quite large. It seemed to take a while for them to recognize me as a customer initially seated at outdoor table, so I phoned from the table to get them out to serve me. I ordered a Golden Mule and ordered my burger medium, it came to me more medium rare/rare. Couldn't be mad about it as it was still good, and thank God not a hockey puck. I couldn't finish it so I shared it with my dog. They were attentive to us both.
