Broke my arm while trying to install a new window. Paramedics arrived quickly and asked which place we should go to. We chose this one. Staff was very helpful yet it took some time to finally get further necessary treatment which was scheduled next day. Was given pain medication while being treated and 1 hydrocodone pill to take home. Then the nightmare took hold. I'm alone and was ready to go get surgery next day. Everything went well. I called and scheduled a taxi expecting to get surgery. They called and told me I needed someone to drive me home after surgery. They told me taxis are not allowed because of taxi companies rules. I tried contacting my sister for a ride home after surgery yet couldn't before the scheduled surgery. The surgery was cancelled. I then contacted my sister who agreed to give me a ride home after surgery. I also contacted my passport provider who was helpful. We had a new surgery scheduled which my sister was content with. I repeatedly called this clinic before the scheduled surgery which led to one of them being hostile. I had been up for 24 hours and was content with the new scheduled surgery. Then she called telling me I could get the surgery on the original day the surgery was scheduled for. This after we had re-scheduled the surgery. I told her no. I had been up for 24 hours and was content with the new scheduled surgery. I also had to deal my with sister who is in poor health. I don't know her name yet she was hostile. Not rude. Hostile! Everything went well until told I needed a ride home after surgery. This clinic is good yet when dealing with surgery, remember if you are alone or don't have a person to give you a ride home after surgery, they will not allow the surgery. I'm now in a predicament because they refuse to deal with me. It's not my fault. I didn't ask for this. My passport provider told me to visit Benfis Orthopedic Center for help treating my broken arm. I have been victimized! I'm worried...
Read moreYesterday was our first time going to the emergency room at this hospital. At first I was very impressed by how fast everything was moving along. My son fell off the monkey bars at school and broke his humerus. The nurse, dr, xray tech all come in the room rather quickly. The dr informed us that the nurse (Chris) would be bringing my son pain medication. After 1.5 hrs Chris came back and wanted to know what was going on.....i let him know the Dr. Said that Chris would bringing pain meds this nurse has no idea he was supposed to be bringing meds. He told us he would go see what was happening. He didn't come back.....I finally went out to the nurse station to see what the heck was taking so long. Chria avoided me not one person asked if i needed help. I finally ran into The dr. Matt and asked if he knew what was taking so long on the pain medication he had no idea but said be he would come talk to us. Thats when informed us his arm was broke. At this point Matt the dr directed everything to my husband said he would be back with the xrays. When he came back my husband had stepped out to use the restroom. Matt looked around the room and then looked at me and said oh well I guess I'll go over these with you amd you can relay whats going on. Um you guess..I'm his mother!!! My husband came back when he was going over the xrays after that Matt directed everything to my husband. I felt very discriminated like he didn't want to talk to me because I was a women. Long story short chris never came back with pain meds...horrible nurse!! Ed came and gave my son pain meds about 20 min before we were discharged. Thank you Ed you were wonderful. Chris you should find another carrier obviously your heart isn't in this job. Matt I hope that was a...
Read moreI recently moved back and went back to Great Falls Clinic upon our return, due to great service in the past. While our patient care has been nothing short of wonderful, it's their billing department that is seriously lacking.
Due to receiving an outrageously high bill for services that insurance would normally cover, we reached out to our insurance company that then noted that the first few visits were billed correctly, but following that they did not code our services as appropriate (this was our first bill received since receiving services for the months of December-June). Our insurance reached out on our behalf 4 times and was sent to voice-mail each time. I personally reached out an additional 2 times (again getting no answer). A week later I received a phone call from them and I assumed they were following up (they were not). The lady on the phone was calling to try and set up payment, to which I explained to her in detail the issue with our statement and she said they would get it taken care of.
Fast forward a month, I receive a final notice bill with all of the same charges. So once again I get on the phone to try to speak to someone, sat on hold for 10 minutes each time only to be sent to voice-mail, once again.
I am hoping that this review will land on the right desk and they can take a long hard look at their third party contractor (that caused massive lay-offs to locals, might I add) and make some much needed adjustments.
These kind of issues can make or break a company, regardless of the satisfaction of direct...
