Very disappointed. I bought the key chain for my dog's ashes. It was impossible to do. The funnel was too small, the hole was too small, the screw was too small. No ashes passed through the funnel. My dear dogs ashes were very where including all over my hands. I got no ashes in using the funnel and it took me at least an hour to put the tinny screw in the tiny hole. I'm surprised I didn't lose it after about 50 attempts to try and start the screw. I finally got it in an turned once. So now try putting some glue on the one tiny thread without it falling out. Have glue all over the bottom of key chain. And nail polish remover didn't take it off. But since I'm sure none got on the thread, I just left it the bottom to hopefully hold his ashes in. This was a terrible experience. I'm distraught over losing my dog and didn't need this grief for what I thought would be a wonderful way to remember him. After an hour and half I was in tears. I would never not recommend this or buy it again.

UPDATE:: Jewelry Keepsake responded immediately to my review and worked with me to make everything right. They said I could mail them the keychain back with some ashes and they would put the ashes in for me. I was done at that point—this ended up being emotional for me. I learned after the fact that I could have mailed them the ashes when I made the original purchase and they would have done the work. Even though I found that option on their website, that option is not indicated in the description for key chains. Instead, it describes the tools they’ll send to do it yourself. But to be honest, I didn’t think it was going to be so difficult. They have been very helpful and created a pendant with my dog’s photo and name at no charge. me husband and I lost our Son on 4/8/2020. We initially order 2 urn pendant necklaces. we received them timely but when taken to be filled the urn fish did not have an opening to be filled. we contacted Jewelry Keepsakes and were told to have them try again, it opened at the bail. well it did not open at the bail. so instead of sending it back, like we should have, it was custom engraved so we kept it for an additional keepsake. We promptly ordered another supposed Sterling Silver urn pendant that was in the shape of a Dog Tag, again custom engraved, and had it overnight shipped for an extra $30.00. It never overnighted and we did not get it until 4 days later. We smiled and said that's ok, and went to have it filled again. This time there was a place for ashes. after getting it home and putting it around my husband's neck, he woke up the next morning and the supposed Sterling Silver chain and pendant had both tarnished and were black in places. I looked at the pendant and it should have been stamped, just like mine with the 925 stand, indicating Sterling Silver and it was not. We were highly disappointed and could not send this item back either because it was customer. I have spent over $700.00 at this place and we only received one decent pendant that will be cherished. My beautiful 13 year-old English black Lab, Muzzy. passed away on August 7th. It was by euthanization, as a day and an half earlier we had learned from our veterinarian that our boy had a brain tumor. We rescued our beautiful, perfect boy when he was one year old. He lived his puppyhood in a crate in a barn. That broke my heart, and so we strove to give him the best, happiest and secure life that we could. We did that, and he was the “best” dog I have ever had in all of my 70 years of life. Everyone who knew him or met him even briefly just loved him. He had a beautiful personality: gentle, happy, playful, curious, and loving. He loved people and adored all children. He went many places with me in and around Lebanon, Lancaster, and Dauphin counties. He was well known and well loved by all. I wanted a piece of memorializing jewelry that I could wear all of the time and not have to worry about. I chose the heart urn because it is a very simple style and will go with absolutely anything I wear. And therefore, I wear it all the time and always will.
