I have been shopping here for years never had a issue Iâve gotten my hot water heater, fridge, dryer here never issue
I went last Thursday to pick up a new washer as we need one , I walked in I wanted to buy the one that had a sticker on it that said buy right now as it was a floor display but had a sticker saying take home today my wife told linda we would take it Linda was very short an rude and said you canât itâs not for sale on the floor Il order it so my wife asked why have a sticker on it that says take home today then? Linda proceeded to say thatâs if we have it in back so I said why sticker it then she had no answer but no you canât have it
We then found a Samsung washer we liked an asked her to order the one we liked well while ordering it she got our info and then addesss and said itâll be shipped to your house with installation.
We proceeded to tell her we donât want installation we want to pick up from Home Depot and weâll do the rest ourselves all she needed to do was order it.
Linda then proceeded to say well you didnât tell me any of that and that wouldâve been nice to know my wife at that point stepped away so she didnât get angry with her I told her you didnât ask you just filled in information without asking we didnât know what you were doing .
Linda then fills out everything correct then tells us there will be a shipping fee and we said to the store we usually donât get those but thatâs fine no big deal she then printed out receipt handed it to us and said go pay up front and out of the blue again she said and yes you need to pay shipping.
We went up front and rang out the items at self check out where she sent us mind you and the guy there even helped us we were about to pay and then Linda comes speeding up to the til saying you canât pay here I need to ring you up at a register not self check out and said next time go to register well she didnât tell us that and no one was at the registers at this point sheâs just being sarcastic and purposely putting us in situations and being rude.
We go to the till she rings us up and keeps saying stuff as she does like donât forget I added shipping and next time remember to pay at a register at this point weâre thinking lady stop just stop. Our tap was being weird and it took a moment I said my apple is being weird can you back out and go back in she goes we donât take Apple Pay I said yes you do thatâs tap I use it all the time here Linda said no we donât like she wanted to argue. In the long run I used TAP and it worked she was more mad after that and said theyâve never took it before I used it. (She doesnât know her own job at this point)
Linda is unbelievably overwhelming rude she didnât even want to help us when we got the washer even though she came over promptly and asked if we needed help from then on itâs like she was forcing herself to be professional I can tell sheâs only there for a job she doesnât not like helping people and must hate her job .
If that happens again weâre going to start going to Loweâs Iâm going to be honest that was awful you even see my wife step away when she wa getting our info watch cameras

DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT GREAT FALLS FOR YOUR CARPET INSTALL.
We had so many issues! The service from Home Depot was good (thanks JC!) but the company they use to install in Great Falls is the absolute worst! We planned ahead so that our carpet would be installed before moving into our home. Our first install was done so poorly that they had to reorder new carpet and start completely over after having someone come out to assess it. There were gaps, slices, and all kinds of errors. Our second installer lives in Helena so he cancelled, no showed, left early and delayed our appointments several times and always last minute. My husband missed several days of work because of it. At least new what he was doing and our carpet looks great. It took several months to get it replaced because the installer company didn't want to replace the carpet. He also left behind a ton of carpet rolls (some from the first install and some from the second) when we were told they would remove all carpet which was annoying but nothing major. You get what you pay for and I would never use them at this location again. We have had good experiences at other home depot locations but I believe it was because they contracted the work out to better companies.
Our kitchen design took several appointments as we would design something in store and then they would call and say never mind that won't work after sending it to the contractor. In the end our plan wasn't the best design. Our shelving above our stove was too low to install a microwave as we planned and they didn't realize we had built ins on a back side of a wall which was in issue. Our installer Cory was great but we ordered our cabinets June 2018 and just finished our install January of 2019. The company repeated shipped us warped cabinets, then the wrong cabinet, and then cancelled our order because they thought it was a mistake that it was ordered so many times. No one at the home depot department seemed to be bothered. We were told that they were escalating our situation to a manager and of course we never heard from anyone.

   Read moreHorrible experience!!! I was mortified today. Never will I set foot in the building again. Today I went to Home Depot at about 7pm. Closing time was 8pm so I had plenty of time. As I came in the doors I started looking around trying to figure out which direction to go, hiding my list of needed items. A employee must have noticed my unassuredness because he offered help right away. I was pleasantly surprised at this because usually help is scarce in this store. The guy was pleasant and helpful. Managed to guide me through most of my list. He even recommended a small tool bag kit which came with some small tools inside. The bag was not operable due to the zippers being zip tied together. Normal. What's not normal is for two ignorant, unprofessional girls working the resisters to make a spectacle of themselves while trying to open this little tool bag. They did not explain what they where doing and I thought it of weird that they felt the need to start tugging and cutting at my merchandise.. when they finally got it opened and rifled thru, the one girl just dropped it in my cart and said " Ya, it's a kit, isnt it?" At this time other customers behind me in line were watching and I was pretty irritated. I asked her why she felt the need to go thru my new property when I hadn't even had the chance to. She went on about theft and inventory. I was so angry I couldn't Think straight. I left but this isnt the last they will hear about it.
