UpperCrust Green — Local services in Green

Usually not a person that leaves reviews, but in the day and age where customer service is dead - Upper Crust was extremely alive. From the moment I walked in the door I was promptly greeted with a smile and let me know my order would be a few more minutes. While I waited they asked if i had ever tried their wings which up to that point i had only had their chicken fingers. Well that wasn't good enough for them and they offered me a complimentary sample of the wings while I waited and the girl at the counter even cleared a spot for me to try while i was there. While I was there the communication between the staff was extreme positive making sure to helping each other out and throwing out compliment after compliment to each other. The positive culture that they had in that store that night was one of the best i have ever seen anywhere. Everyone thanked me for my business and even threw in a few extras on top of the wings which was appreciated. The 4 Piece chicken tender meal is great and be prepared to have Jojos or Fries for days cause i think for each tender we had 8 Jojos. I love detroit style pizza so this is a great place for that and the pizza was on point as usual. And to be honest the food could have sucked tonight, but the fact that the staff treated a customer the way they did went farther than any any food they would have provided. Food was just the icing on the cake for what i would call a 5 Star Experience. They asked if there was anything else they could do for me and I told them i just wish they were closer to my house to which they said they were expanding and would be closer soon! Crazy part is i might pass a closer location to go back to the Green location if that is how they treat...

So disappointed! This used to be one of my family's top places to order from but twice now we ordered and had to figure out something different for dinner. Today I ordered for delivery online (never had a problem doing so before) we got the 4 piece chicken tenders, added to extra sauces, and tried the pepperoni rolls for the first time. We got the text alert that our order was ready at 5:09pm which normally would be followed by a text that says you driver is on the way but nothing else came through. My estimated delivery time was 20-25 minutes when I placed the order. I waited a while and at 5:39 I called in. Whomever answered the phone said it "came through as carry out" even though I received an estimated delivery time AND placed a tip for the delivery driver. I referenced these things and he said he wasn't equipped to help with the issue and put me on hold to talk to presumably the manager in the background, to then come back on the line and say for an additional $5 they would bring the food in 45 minutes to an hour. I told him that the food had already been sitting there for a half hour getting g clod and I wasn't able to wait another hour to feed my family before work so I requested they just make the order fresh and I would come pick it up. As soon as I got off the phone he called back and said they could now be here in ten minutes and swore our food was still hot.. 15 minutes later I received two boxes of cold food. Hoping I could atleast reheat the pepperoni rolls i opened the box to find they were burnt anyway.Such a waste of money food and time. I don't know if this manager is new or what the problem is but at some point the owner or corporate should probably address it before they continue to...

1st time customer .. Ordered pizza & bogo wings. American pan was soggy/greasy. Got the bulldog & asked for a white sauce… wasn’t expecting a wing sauce(creamy garlic) to come on it , which had little a kick to it we didn’t want- but all in all It was a decent pizza… The sausage falls off, needs to be under the cheese. Crust needs to be more crisp & less greasy. The wings were bland, no seasoning , the flats come out not crisp enough w thick chewy skin you have to spit out , but the drums were perfect- wings are not dry at all! Sauces were good. They run a bogo deal where you get 10 wings plain & get 10 plain free & have to buy the sauces - which is a sales gimmick. I was expecting to spend around $35 bucks & my order was $43 due to the up charge of sauces. I got 1 pizza , 10 wings - 10 free wings , 2 wing sauces, 1 side of ranch & 1 garlic dip for the pizza. It’s like selling beer at champagne prices.. beers good, people love it.. but this location is sure to tank itself in no time at these prices. If you want to charge restaurant prices , have restaurant seating.. I’m also a door dash driver & have been here in the warmer months & the owner doesn’t provide cooling for their employees.. it’s unbearable in there to stand & wait for a pizza for even 5-10 mins… at these prices you can afford to provide your employees air conditioning at the least. To ask for a tip after all of that on your payment screen & expect customers to pay your employees a livable wage in this economy was the icing on the cake for me. Thanks ,...
