South Point Tavern — Restaurant in Green

Awesome little hidden gem in the Green area. Has a very relaxed vibe in a darker atmosphere. It almost reminds me of a speakeasy. They offer bar seating, some comfy seating, and even a board/card game area. There is also a large bar serving beer, mixed drinks and more.

They have incredible bourbon, whiskey and scotch selections at extremely reasonable prices. The cocktail menu is very diverse and offers some unique and delicious mixed drinks and martinis.

The staff every time we have gone has been wonderful. They're knowledgeable, helpful and extremely attentive. It appears that they all very much enjoy their work.

I believe there's another location in Akron if you cannot make it to this one but if you enjoy bourbon, whiskeys or just mixed drinks in general this is definitely worth...

Bartender was very nice, but seemed more interested in her regulars than new customers at the bar. We sat with dirty glasses in front of us, the entire time. Mind you.... these dirty glasses weren’t ours, they were already there when we sat down. Those dirty glasses also stayed there after we closed our tab.... sorry but freakin gross!! Drinks were delicious, and would’ve liked to have stayed for a few more tasty cocktails...... but she just took forever. The bartender wasn’t very tentative at all, but apologized for being busy when she really wasn’t. Yet she managed to leave the bar unattended, to check on her food next door while a couple waited minutes longer to order their drinks. This place has one of the most extensive bourbon lists we've ever come across. It's a smaller venue that doesn't serve food but allows it to be brought in if so desired. while nice inside, my wife and I both felt like, while the playlist was good, we'd be alright with a decibel or two less in music volume (because the smaller sized room). Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Jordan was our bartender and he went out of his way to give us some good info on, as well as tastings of different bourbons.
