"The trickle-down effect of Martins" The only good experience I've ever had with Martins was their grand opening day.. after that it's all went downhill.. it's been one bad experience after another and I am totally done with Martin's... I went in for seafood salad one time and they had three little left over blobs in containers.. I wanted fresh so I asked the man to get me a pound of fresh seafood salad, instead of telling me they didn't have any he took the three blobs back into their Department and between him and the lady back there who kept looking around to see if I was watching opened the containers and threw it all together that is contamination because I could not see what the two of them were doing because they were standing so close together that I couldn't see.. you don't open containers once the product is packaged unless you ask the customer first, but that didn't happen.. I proceeded to tell the store manager about what had happend and he could have cared less, he thought it was okay that they contaminated the food to give back to me... during my conversation with him he was pretty disrespectful towards me, when I mentioned that I wouldn't be back he had the attitude like oh well.. no wonder they're losing their employees right and left and the rumor has it through town that they are horrible to their employees and a lot of them have quit since.. Another time I go in to get some lunch meat from the deli a very nice girl named Emma had waited on me she was very kind and respectful however there was another lady there named Pam, when I told her about the last time she had sliced my lunch meat that she had it all balled up together that I couldn't make sandwiches out of it, she got very smart mouthed and hateful.. shame on me for giving Martin's another try.. and by the way, I don't need any generated message from the "(So called Owner)" Because I know they don't care about their customers nor do they care about their employees.. don't get me wrong I like the Martin's in Hagerstown and the Martins in Waynesboro but the Martins in Greencastle? their giving Martins in general a bad name.. Greencastle's management needs an...
Read moreWhy do I have to install an app in order to get a descent price at your store? It is MY phone I do not want your junk on my phone. The fact I choose your store to spend my money should be incentive enough for you to give everyone a descent price. The next time you need a police to help you keep in mind they may not have time to help you because they are wasting their time putting your app on their phone then playing your stupid games to save their hard earned money. Next time you have a medical emergency remember the same. Next time a child needs a few extra minutes of their teachers time because they are being hurt by a parent. They can't to busy playing your stupid games. I am boycotting all martins until this whole digital coupons thing comes to an end. I spend hundreds here every week. ...
Read moreIn here alot because unfortunately it's one of the VERY FEW grocery stores in the area..... PROS: -It's a Clean and Organized, everything is easy to find here -They have a bigger sĂŻfrelection of certain items than Sunnyway Foods -The Staff has Always been very kind & helpful CONS: -RICULOUSLY HIGH PRICES!!! I swear they must feel like the food they sell is at least 3X as Special as their competitors, because they Charge about 3X the amount!! đ¤đ -They are Regularly Out of alot of merchandise
Bottom Line- Its a good choice if you don't have to worry about Price Tags (lucky you! đ) but I basically try to avoid it because I can't afford to spend $100 for 1 or 2 bags of...
