I called over the phone to schedule an appointment and I asked what the prices were. The day of my appointment I was running behind because we were moving. So I didn’t get to put myself together. I was on time to my appointment I just looked a mess. I could instantly tell that I was being judged by one lady specifically. She ended up being the one I booked with it too. I brought an extra $20 to leave a tip for a haircut. At the end when I was ready to pay she gave me a completely different price than I was given. I didn’t add anything extra but somehow it went up $15 in Price. So I decided not to tip. I felt like it was unprofessional to give one price and then change it in person. She would have gotten more from me had she not done that and I would’ve been a repeat customer. She probably assumed that I was just a one time customer and that I wasn’t going to leave a tip so she charged more to make sure she got a tip. I normally don't leave reviews but I came to this salon because of the good reviews. I have gone to Savanah twice. The first time I went to her, she did a decent job on my haircut so me and my daughter went the second time. I asked for a cut, color, and highlight. she talked me into just getting the color. My grays were not covered and the haircut is not what I asked for. My daughter was next. she has very long, layered hair. She wanted a couple inches off to get rid of the split ends. Savannah only took off 1/2 inch and somehow managed to cut a chunk out of her hair. she left both of our hair wet so it was hard to tell what had been done until we got home. When we found out that my daughters hair was so messed up, she cried and we had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. just wanted others to know so when they are looking for a new stylist like we were, that they were aware. By far the BEST haircuts I've ever had in the Greenfield area! I used to go to a local barbershop, but it always felt somewhat rushed, impersonal, and a bit awkward. This place takes the time to get to know you, and spends the extra time necessary to give you a consistent, high quality cut (and wash at no extra charge)!
