I recently hired this game truck service for my son’s 10th birthday party, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. While the initial excitement was high, the service provided fell significantly short of our expectations, leaving us disappointed and embarrassed in front of our guests.

First, the game truck operator’s demeanor was unprofessional and unpleasant throughout the event. From the beginning, he was short-tempered with the kids and seemed frustrated when they asked for specific games that required internet access. Despite being assured beforehand that the truck had the capability to provide a variety of games, the internet connection was so weak that many of the games the kids wanted to play were not available. This was a significant letdown, especially since I had been told that the kids could play any game they wanted.

Additionally, the operator left the event abruptly without saying goodbye or providing any closure, which felt quite rude and unprofessional. There were multiple adults present outside, and I was busy inside cutting cake for the kids. Even when my daughter brought a piece of cake out to him, he refused it rudely, which was noticed by everyone. His overall attitude was not suitable for a child’s birthday party, and even my boyfriend, who is usually very easy-going, felt uncomfortable with how the interactions were handled.

Moreover, the operator mentioned venue challenges as a reason for his behavior, but this excuse does not hold as the truck’s parking spot was resolved weeks in advance. It had nothing to do with his inability to say goodbye or engage positively with the attendees.

In total, four other parents contacted me afterward to express their dissatisfaction with the operator’s attitude and the event overall, echoing the concerns we experienced firsthand. My son, the birthday boy, and other children were left disappointed by the limited game options and the negative atmosphere created by the host.

Given the consistent negative feedback from both parents and children, I reached out to request a refund due to the poor service. Despite my efforts to resolve this amicably, I was met with excuses and a lack of accountability from the operator. I would not recommend this game truck service to anyone looking for a fun, professional, and engaging experience for their children’s events. i hired the truck as entertainment for my youngest daughters 10th birthday party at our house a couple of years ago and it was a TON of fun. There were more than enough game options for the kids inside and out. Although it rained here and there, it didn't ruin our fun at all. The owner pulled out the awnings and we continued to dance unbothered. It was such a big hit our neighbors came out to observe and one kid joined in. His parents ended up renting the truck for his next party. If you have children that love video games, this is the truck for you. It's fun for children of all ages, so parents don't be afraid to get your dance on and take a VR trip! Absolutely amazing! We had the elite game truck out for our son’s birthday and all the kids from ages 4-14 had an absolute blast. He is great with the kids helping everyone be included and keeping them following rules. So many different games to play and plenty of space for everyone to join inside and outside.
