If you’re looking for a fantastic movie experience right here in our small town, look no further than The Globe Theater in Greenville. This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s something special — super clean, welcoming, and just full of charm.

The admission prices are unbeatable — about half of what you’d pay in Edwardsville, making it an easy choice for families, date nights, or just a spontaneous evening out.

And let’s talk about the concessions — hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Seriously, it’s not just good for a theater, it’s good period. Their popcorn? Unreal. Perfectly popped, perfectly buttery — it’s worth going just for that.

The whole vibe of the theater is warm, nostalgic, and joyful. Andrew and Andrea, the owners, are absolute treasures to our town. They’ve put their heart and soul into this place, and it shows in every little detail. I was also delighted to meet their son, Alexander — such a sweet family, and clearly passionate about what they do.

There honestly aren’t enough kind words to express how much they’ve done to make this theater such a beloved part of our community.

The main theater was large and had a big screen. Seats were comfortable and it was easy to find a primo spot. I'm a popcorn snob and we watch ALOT of movies in surrounding counties and across different states when traveling. 🎬 Let me say the GLOBE has The BEST POPCORN!!!!!!!!!!!!🍿 .
