NOT WORTHY OF EVEN THE ONE STAR IN REGARDS TO REPAIRS: In July of 2021 I brought a coin ring to Wieland Jewelers in Greenville, Ohio for repair & resizing. I called several times over the remaining Summer & into the Fall and was finally told on October 1 that the ring was ready for pickup. I went to the store on October 1 only to find that the ring, which had been cut off of my finger at the jewelry store in July to be resized (2 1/2 months previously) was only repaired TO THE SAME SIZE! The jewelry store envelope the ring was in clearly indicated to the jeweler to resize it to the size that was measured in July. So...I once again left my ring for it to be resized as I had requested in July of 2021. The lady even said she would "put a rush on this repair". Again I waited for a call to notify me of the completed repair (over 3 weeks) but DID NOT receive any contact. So I called the store on October 22 and was told the ring was ready for pickup. I picked up the ring that day. I wore the ring for 2 days and on the morning of the 3rd day I noticed that the prongs were not sufficiently holding the coin in place because the emblem on the coin is rotated. The coin was turning in the prongs and the coin also is bent. It clearly is NOT secured/mounted well. The coin "wobbles" in the mounting. The mounts are not appropriate and should have been the same style of prongs as what was originally on the coin that had withstood at least 15 years of wear! I can already see that with continued wear the coin will be displaced from the ring very soon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE HAVING ANY JEWELRY REPAIR COMPLETED AT WIELAND JEWELERS. The quality of the WORKMANSHIP is VERY POOR, the TIME INVOLVED with such a repair was RIDICULOUS (over 3 months, and they still didn't get it repaired right), the very POOR CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION on completion of the work. Also, I sent an email 5 days previously to Wieland Jewelers to voice my grievance with my ring repair and of course, you guessed it....NO RESPONSE TO THAT EITHER !! SO I GIVE THEM TWO THUMBS DOWN and DO NOT recommend...
