My wife went for a rare trip to NOLA, we found ourselves on the other side of the river in Gretna around dinner time. I'm a picky eater and chinese is often a safe bet. Besides my wife loves it.
When we got there it was empty, the server said, we're just early for the dinner crowd. Sure enough by the time we left a crowd had formed.
I was very happy with my fried tofu which was ahhh-mazing. The lo-mein was very different than what I was expecting so I was less than thrilled by that. Remember, I'm a very picky eater.

However, I will probably try this place again, maybe ordering one of the...

We ordered the platter appetizer to try a variety and was happy with ALL elements. The shrimp toast was a standout. I had a combination lunch with Mandarin Chicken and was pleased, my dining partner had the best sweet and sour chicken she's had in years--a well done sauce. The hot and sour soup was also well done. My dining partner thought she egg drop soup was bland and I would like to see the front and door windows washed, but other than that there was nothing else remotely...
