This was my very first time visiting here 2 Saturdays ago. I was on my way home and decided to stop. I’ll state again that it was my very first time here. All I really needed was some hay, and I didn’t realize they closed at 2pm. I went in at 1:53 thinking “ok I’ll just get some hay real quick.” Well, I paid for 2 bales and asked where I go to get it. The cashier told me the guys outside will help you. I walk outside and 4 young men were talking and laughing, no big deal. And asked me if I was the one the got the hay, to which I said yes but where do I go to get it. Another guy walks up and they tell him, I needed the hay - he huffed turned around, and started walking away, and said something to what sounded like “I’ll meet you over there.” Ok…. Over where? So I asked the guys again where to go. They said turn here and then go down to the trailer. Not very descriptive but ok. I got in my car and started to go in that direction, but I didn’t see any “trailer” so I stopped at the little storage container outside the plant area to ask a worker I saw. As soon as I walked up, she immediately said very rudely “we are closed, you can’t be here.” No, “how can I help you?” or anything. I said I was looking for the hay and just wanted to know where to go. She responds with “you just go over to the hay area.” Like - if I damn well knew where that was, I wouldn’t be asking. She pointed and said go down this road to the trailers. I FINALLY see these blasted trailers, and pull into the gravel area and guy before is there and annoyed because I didn’t back up to the trailer. And to be fair I didn’t know which side of the trailers to be on. Common sense would tell you not to park on the street. In any case, I told that guy I had never been there before and was not familiar with the layout or the process. He changed his tune and apologized and I thanked him. But as a first time customer who had never been there before, it was a horrible first impression with the rudeness and overall unhelpful responses. Not everyone is from the area and knows where everything is. And some signs to the hay area would have been more helpful. I don’t know if i will be back despite not living very far and I wanted some plants, but not with rude employees. Maybe I’ll give it another shot sometime, but we’ll see. They have a very friendly staff working for them and with them. They have a large variety of items for animals of all ranges including medical needs for a lot of things on a farm or household animals. They have supplies for beehives. They have large bags of feed for a large variety of animals. They have dog treats at a very good price. you can purchase these dog treats by the pound or quarter pound whatever you want you put in the bag purchased by weight. They have wormer for variety of animals and pets. They have many things that you would just like to have around the house to do little chores easier. They also have customer appreciation. You can go around the store on that day or any day and just see what they do carry they also have a plant store with a large variety of plants they have garden vegetable plants and fruit trees many options to choose from from large to small. I have been here often and have always been greeted with nice kind people always ready to help you but to let you also enjoy your shopping there and just browse and take your time it's a very comfortable...

I was a little lost overwhelmed that day and had to ask for help in making the right choice for the project I had to do. They were very helpful and friendly and I think gave me their honest opinion in what was best for me and my situation. They didn't try to sell me a bunch of high dollar merchandise. They let me look around 1st and when I asked for help they gave it then walked away while I made up my mind on what I wanted then promptly helped me get the supplies off of the shelf and to the register and offered to take to my car but my husband was with me so he did that. Yes I would shop there again and recommend it...
