Just left here and I am extremely disappointed at the customer service we were given from the girl in the meat market. We asked her if she could cut some ribeyes for us, and she looked at the counter and said âthereâs some on the shelfâ We said we know but we want some cut thicker. We told her we wanted them an inch and a quarter thick. She replied with âwell thatâs gonna be $50â. (They actually rang up for less) My husband said âyeahâ she finally went back there and cut 2 ribeyes for us. The attitude she gave was unnecessary and showed pure laziness because she didnât want to cut them. Weâve shopped here many times and never have a problem with getting steaks cut to our liking. Please give her some extra training on how to treat customers. My husband and I work in customer service and the way she behaved was absolutely unacceptable. The price was none of her concern. Itâs making the store money. We...
Read moreWe have been shopping at Kenâs a lot lately, especially since they opened the new store. We even subscribed to their Rewards Program. Be very careful about trying to take advantage of the offers in the emails they send you. I have an offer for General Mills products that expires on March 21st, per the email sent, but they told me that was last weekâs special and was no longer valid. (Today is March 19th.) We also tried to use their offer on frozen foods. We were very careful to stick to the brands mentioned in the email, and we even added the prices as we went to make sure we were over the $20 minimum. When we got to the register, we were told that several of our items were not valid, even though those specifics were not mentioned in the email. I work out at a gym in Springfield every day. Food Lion will be seeing me a lot more, and Kenâs will be seeing...

Since it's a "must do", I at least like to do it in the easiest, most convenient way possible and for me that means going to Ken's IGA in Guyton. Not just because it is nearby, albeit that is definitely a plus, but more importantly because it is well kept, well stocked and IGA meats are better than the meats at any other chain grocery stores I've ever purchased from. With meat prices these days I certainly want the best bang for my buck and in my opinion that's found...
