I recently visited the Pandora jewelry store while doing some Christmas shopping, and I must say, my experience was far from pleasant. I walked in with my earphones in, and I truly didn't realize anyone was speaking to me until I noticed the store manager approaching. I immediately apologized for not hearing her and expected a warm, welcoming response. Instead, she acted as if it was her personal mission to ensure I was aware of her presence, which felt unnecessarily aggressive.
Rather than inquiring about my needs or why I was there, she proceeded to put me in a system for an appointment with a salesperson. It was incredibly rude and presumptuous, as she didn't even ask if I wanted an appointment in the first place. I couldn't help but feel that my shopping experience was being dictated to me rather than facilitated.
To add to the discomfort, the store manager circled back to me less than two minutes later to "check on me." When I asked if it was time for the appointment she had set up, she curtly replied that it wasnât, but she would continue to check on me while I was in her store. This kind of behavior was not only off-putting but also made me feel like more of an inconvenience than a customer.
I've shopped at other Pandora locations in Maryland and New York without any issues, so this experience was particularly disappointing. As someone who has managed stores myself, I suggest that this location seriously consider retraining their team on customer service basics. A welcoming atmosphere and respectful communication go a long way in retail, and unfortunately, this store missed the mark completely. This was my first and last visit to...
Read moreCurrent Pandora policy as of 12/29/2019 says: PANDORA stores are happy to exchange any items purchased from any PANDORA store. A valid proof of purchase must be present within 30 days of purchase and the items must be as new. Any items for exchange without a receipt may, at our discretion, be exchanged at the current price.
However this store at riverside always has an issue with refunding or exchanging items. On two separate occasions they have called the stores to ensure they are pandora owned and not franchises before doing an exchange or refund although I bring the printed receipts. I have never had this issue before only when I go to riverside. The customer service needs to be reassessed. I shop 1000k in pandora products and never have been told to sign my telephone number on every receipt to make sure payments are not returned. I had Rosamarie assist me with an exchange and return on 12/29. She told me that "she has been getting customers from Paramus and think that once they come in they need to be taken care of. That apparently they make customers write their phone numbers in case of a scam. I have brought from NewPort , Woodbury and Atlantic city Pandora and have never encountered all this racial profiling and discrimination. Never coming back here. Poor...
Read moreI think dismissive is the best way I can describe the woman who answered the phone and I had to come in person because they did not have my bracelet in stock so that part of my order was canceled. She ordered the other two workers around rudely, she basically spoke over me and to top it off she had me do a separate order for the free bracelet and had me buy extra to receive it even though online my order had enough purchased. She is rude and sneaky. She tried to rip me off and tried to tell me I could only look at bracelets in the little book not from the counter? Older woman who needs to be fired. How could Pandora ever hire someone like this I will not go back unless she is gone and I will let others know about her...
