Plated By D — Restaurant in Hackensack

I had the pleasure of visiting Plated by D in March to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a memorable experience. I attended a special cheese board and cocktail-making class hosted by Platedby D and her wonderful staff, which happened to align perfectly with my birthday.

The class was incredibly engaging and enjoyable. I learned how to assemble a beautiful cheese board for any future gatherings I host—though I admit I still need a bit more practice! The cocktail portion was equally fun, and the overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming.

Another great perk was being able to purchase additional items while attending the class, which added to the experience.

Very disappointed! The place itself is super cute and perfectly decorated and the location is great but as I walked in I wanted to know the food options and I was thinking that this place would have other options besides pork for dietary restrictions purposes I asked the girl behind the counter if they had other meats like beef or turkey or chicken since I can’t eat any pork she straight up said no and never gave me other options or even tried… mind you I was so excited because I saw this all over social media but disappointed when they only had pork… which is kind of crazy because they should be able to cater to people in general with dietary restrictions… don’t waste your time coming here if you can’t eat pork or...

I stopped by to grab a charcuterie board for a girls’ night after seeing a positive review on TikTok, and while the shop itself was very cute and beautiful inside, my experience was disappointing. As the second person in the establishment, I wasn’t acknowledged by the owner, who walked by without saying a word. It took a while before anyone greeted me, even though there was only one other customer inside placing an order.
