This shop is a 10 out of 10! I am a queer, fat, disabled female and I was incredibly nervous going to get my first tattoo. My tattoos were done by Zoe Fisk “oldmanfisk” and I emailed him with some ideas asking to set up a session. His wife Jacki (she’s amazing) manages his email and was quick to respond and offered that before I got the first tattoo I could go for a consultation. The consultation eased my nerves by a million because I have never met a nicer person so passionate about what they do. We discussed my concerns with my disability and he was understanding and even came up with a backup plan for sessions if I couldn’t handle the full day. I got my first tattoo in March and the experience was more than I could have hoped for…So much so, that I have been back two more times and anticipate many more visits to come! I also have to add that this shop is clean, has an awesome vibe and so much art to see! The restroom is like its own little art gallery! The owner Tim Brewer and many of the other artists popped over to check out the piece and everyone was so nice and welcoming! While I don’t have a lot of tattoos, I have been to a lot of shops with friends over the years and this shop is different than the others in the best way! The people here just make you feel like part of the group or one of their friends and I am grateful to have a safe space to add to my growing collection!...

VINNIE! I got a Chinese character phrase fine line tattoo on my back in my father's handwriting. I talked to many local tattoo artists and went with Vinnie because he made me feel comfortable by answering all my questions, setting up an appointment quickly, and showing me examples of similar work he's done. The moment I walked in, he was super patient and careful with the smallest details. He took the time to sketch out my tattoo before I came and walked through every detail in each character to make sure it was accurate and what I wanted. This was the most painless tattoo I've ever had. Throughout the process, Vinnie checked in on me, was very gentle, friendly to talk to, and meticulous in every way. He truly takes his time and provided the BEST PRICE! Shoutout to Jacki for recommending him to me (I also saw her work on another client when I was there and it was INCREDIBLE!) 100% recommend and will definitely come back for any future tattoos! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. After semi-reluctantly getting my first tattoo at the request of my daughter a year ago I am about to get my fourth from Rick.

The studio is immaculate and very welcoming. It is full of really get little touches (they have pop rocks) and art.

I am an anxious person, but I can honestly say that being in Rick’s presence and having him tattoo his whimsical, magical creatures on me is basically the most relaxed I ever am.

Let’s talk about these whimsical creatures for a minute, shall we? Every idea we have thrown at him (my daughter has 3 and will also be getting a fourth soon) he has exceeded all expectations.
