Shinjuku Sushi Hadley — Restaurant in Hadley

Went in today for lunch as we had seen this place was open. Unlike most sushi places this was a counter service restaurant, but they service was quick and the person at the desk came by a few times to ask if we needed anything.

We got two lunch combos, one sushi and sashimi and one teriyaki that came with a California roll. Overall it was a great deal, lost of food for a good price and all of it was really tasty! With the food quality and prices we'll definitely be back!

The only odd thing was we ate in but we're still served with take out containers, that may have been because they had just opened, and it didn't...

I ordered sushi for carry-out, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The order was ready on time, neatly packaged, and still looked gorgeous when I got it home. Every roll tasted incredibly fresh, the fish was buttery and clean, and the rice had that perfect texture you only get at really good sushi spots. Even though it was takeout, the presentation and care were top-notch. The staff made sure I had everything I needed (soy sauce, ginger, chopsticks, the works). Excellent! I ordered carry out over the phone and they packaged my tempura udon soup with the broth in its own container so I could pour it in with the noodles and shrimp when I got home! My first bite of the shrimp in the umami broth instantly brought me back to when I lived in Japan. 🍥 I thoroughly enjoyed my caterpillar roll as well.
