Hagerstown Regional Airport — Local services in Hagerstown

Hearing that flights to and from Myrtle Beach started back in the summer, I was completely ecstatic being I live in Myrtle Beach and from Hagerstown, so I could visit my family multiple weekends. I appreciate the airport making changes to better their establishment; however, my daughter's and I experience was awful. I won't get into the airline or the security check, being that I understand precautions need to be had; however, I do not condone into being in a public place and not having a place to change my daughter before boarding a plane. When asking where to find a bathroom with a changing table, I was told I would have to exit the "gate" to the front of the airport where I would have to return again through security. This wasn't an option as security is hard enough traveling alone with a small child and preboarding was about to begin. I was forced to change my daughter on the floor of the women's bathroom, thank god I had a changing pad. As we are trying to get through drastic measures of being sanitary, I find it DESPICABLE that I have had to lay my child on a bathroom floor...

Used this airport's AVIS rental car agency to rent a vehicle to drive North to New York state. When I arrived back to the airport at 5:30PM on a Saturday, the airport was closed and locked up. The rental car's drop box is located INSIDE the airport. I looked up the airport's website to see what hours they were supposed to be open, and they have no hours of operation mentioned on their website (weird!). I found on the "Visit Hagerstown" website that the hours were listed as 4:30AM to 7:00PM on Saturdays. Long story short, I had to drive back 40 miles to Hagerstown Airport the next day to return the rental keys Funny part is, Google shows that at 6PM on a Saturday, the airport is a "little busy"! Perhaps someone from said airport could update the hours they feel like being open to the "Visit Hagerstown" website and Google? Or maybe even include the hours the airport is open to the public on their...

Flying out of Hagerstown was a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and kind. So helpful while figuring out the military benefits with Allegiant. Parking is FREE! That was awesome! The airport is very clean and well managed. I would recommend this airport to anyone to fly out of or in to. It doesn’t have many destinations but you can easily get to Florida and vacation or just a short visit. I wish the snack booth would have been open during our wait time as my kids got hungry and wanted snacks during our wait. They were patient and finally got a snack...
