Very Unpleasant Experience - This weekend my husband and I leased a jump house from, Party Works Rentals. All appeared to go well until about 6:30pm on Saturday, August 6 when I learned that a team of their employees where camping outside of my home like the feds. I was so busy attending to my guests but was bothered after learning of this. Next, thing I know a few of the employees invited themselves in my back yard (without my permission) on their own telling me it's time to pack the house up. Can you imagine this? I run to get my phone to show the rude employees that the text'd pick up time says between 7:40pm and 8:40pm. He says to me that pick up time is at 7pm. Huh? My contract specifically states that the contract ends at 7pm but the pick up time would be between 7:40pm and 8:40pm. So, I try to reach the owner Halley (via phone multiple times) who was not available. We were so upset đĄ at how we were being treated. We walk the employees out front in hopes of finding a feasable solution,which was to pay extra to keep the house until the next morning. The owner Hailey was on the phone with another employee discussing the issue. Her exact words were, " you guys have been there long enough,they have waisted your time and you should get compensated for this." I then say her, what do you mean we waisted your/their time we were supposed to have this jump houseat least until 7:40pm. She then blurts out that the previous customer cancelled. I pause then respond with but what does that have to do with us? So, a previous customer cancels you therefore ambush my home for an early pick up? Her tone was harsh, abrupt and disrespectful toward us as new customers (first time) who paid almost $500 including tax and insurance for her services. At that moment I made an executive decision to have the jump house picked up. All of my grands and the neighborhood kids were having a ball, but I just couldn't bare to patronize this business at this point. My husband was livid. He could not believe how this all played out, unprofessionally. We hired a chef, tent company/tables and a DJ for this event who all exhibited stellar customer service that day, except for Part Works Rentals. Not only will we no longer do business with this company, but we contacted all of the personal referrals to let them know what occurred as well. Would not recommend this company, the owner only cares about collecting money regardless of the circumstances. The company does not care to work it out with the client. The smokers who arrived at our house and the owners were very argumentative and dismissive of their clients especially me the PREGNANT client.
I was appalled by this companyâs behavior and even though I tried to work on our relationship with the owner, Halley Beam, she continued to blame my incapability, making me feel unintelligent. Even though I apologized and explained that I did everything to the best of my ability being 9 months pregnant, she threatened me with her legal team and still collected the money.
I will not recommend this company to anyone who wants to work with a respectful company. My $600 is gone, but I am here to warn others that this company has no interests in providing excellent service, they are excellent at collecting their money and threatening their clients with a lawyer.

We were shocked that the Party Works crew was very unfriendly and didnât introduced themselves when they arrived at 9am to setup rather than 1 pm, as we agreed to. The crew stated they will pickup the equipment after the party whenever they had time but couldnât give a specific time. I asked for at least an email or text informing me of when they think they will pickup everything but I never received notification and they showed up 2 hours after the agreed upon pickup time. I appreciate the extra time for the children to play in the bouncy house but it seemed unprofessional for the crew to just show up at our house any time without informing us especially since they did not want to converse with us or even say hellâo. We were also surprised the team didnât safely secure the long power cord or the tarp surrounding the bouncy house so many kids would trip over these during the party.
