Stay away if you see Cashier Amanda!!! Where to start first the cashier Amanda was extremely RUDE she was ignoring me playing on her phone I waited awhile then she then stared at me like I was a bother to her she had an attitude the whole time making sighs under her breath. I made her aware I wanted to put my phone number in so I could use my E-coupon she sighed like it was a problem then the item didn't come up with my E-coupon so I showed her on my phone and she argued with me. She said it's not the right item and I never clipped the coupon I showed it to her on my DG account that it was clipped and didn't expire on 4/26. So I said I can show you where I got the item she said in an aggressive tone I know where it's at so I said I'd get a different scent off the shelf to see if my coupon comes up andi she kept telling me it's not coming up so I said I will call Corporate. I asked why do you offer E-coupons if you wont honor them. She rang the item up I said I didn't want it then she got an attitude grabs the item and aggressively puts it on the counter. So she said so you want it for free I said no I wanted to use my E-coupon so I bought another item she threw it in the bag then left the bag carousel where I couldn't reach my item she purposely didn't hand me my bag. She was rude, making smart comments and highly aggressive! I called Corporate they made a claim and will be contacting me regarding this incident. Corp confirmed my coupon was clipped and stated Amanda was in the wrong for not allowing me to use my E-coupon. With her attitude she will lose a lot of business at the Halifax PA location. I'm a regular customer, they're never too bad but today was horrible I went in and we had bought hair dye and a few other things, we had the guy ring up our stuff and as we were walking out the beeper started beeping (it beeps a lot with certain products you buy), I walked back in because I didn't take anything and the lady was very rude. She asked me if I had taken anything and I told her no because I had not and then she preceded to ask if I took anything again and I told her no and that she could check my purse. She asked me in a very rude manner if I was gonna leave or if she should call the cops. I didn't take anything but obviously I'm not gonna make them call the cops when I didn't take anything I thought we could handle it by looking through my purse quick seeing I didn't take a damn thing but instead she told me flat out goodbye and not to come again. Not a fan of the two workers complaining the entire time I was in the store about their job and being under staffed. Cashier didn’t address me, ask if I wanted a bag (even though I had one boxed item) or tell me to have a good day, just continued to talk to her coworker about how they aren’t able to get their work done with two people as the other was also behind the register sipping her Monster.. plenty of other dollar generals to go to that I don’t get that kind of sub...
