Subway — Restaurant in Halifax Township

My boyfriend and I stopped in here and got subs. I got a veggie sub that I added cucumbers to. We sat down and I took a bite into my sub and immediately had a chemical taste in my mouth. I was confused at first, and start to pick apart my sub to see what could taste like that. I finally figured out it was the cucumbers. they SMELLED like a chemical, and tasted just like one too. My throat started burning a few minutes after I stopped eating so I went inside and talked to an employee. the only thing good about this experience was the girl i was explaining this to. i had a list of questions i asked her about what could be wrong with the cucumbers and if there’s a chance any chemical could have gotten inside the container. she was young, so im not sure she knew how to go about this but she had stated she would tell her manager the next day and asked if she could do anything to assist me. This was my first time in this location and the last. I have had subway multiple times throughout my life and have always gotten cucumbers. this is the first time i have ever had an issue with my sub tasting like a chemical. this really concerns me that they don’t take the quality of their food serious.. how did no one smell that? my boyfriend even smelled it and said it was very strong. this is disturbing and will be telling others to not go here. i hope i dont get sick. stay away from this location. we have other loval subways that have way better quality of food. this...

i ordered a soft pretzel and a breakfast sandwich on italian herbs and cheese. my pretzel was hard as a rock and and my sub was on the wrong bread. this establishment has gone downhill. so much drama surrounding it. i think my order was purposely messed up because im “banned” for quitting, due to the constant drama and lack of respect and lying and spreading peoples personal information. specific workers here do not use gloves while prepping food as well. there is so MANY issues with things being sanitary. and food is usually out of date...

FOOD POISONING....First of all dont eat here EVER!!!! Me and a friend stopped in a few days ago. Both got the same foot long tuna subs. Boy did I make a mistake . Both of us ended up with food poisoning. I tried calling the store multiple times and nobody ever answered . So I called corporate. It's all automated. So I left a message. I wrote them an email.
