My fiancé came here to look for my engagement ring. His business partner also bought his wife's engagment as well as their wedding bands. My fiancé was very impressed with their hospitality. He didn't feel he was just another customer. Doug one of the owners was the one who assisted him throughout the experience. My fiancé told Doug exactly what I envisioned my ring to be. My fiancé was very impressed as Doug had brought in an array of my dream diamond. My fiancé was able to look at each diamond carefully as Doug was educating him on all the types of clarity , color size etc. When my fiancé had proposed to me I was in awe of how gorgeous my ring was, literally everything I had dreamed of!!!! We went back to Rumanoff's to pick out our wedding bands. The place is beautiful inside and all of the staff are so extremely helpful. I am very picky and thought I would have to come back at least two times before deciding on what type of band I wanted. I knew the style and I knew I wanted two, soon enough after tying on different sizes of eternity bands I quickly fell in love with my bands. Doug knew exactly what I was looking for. I have for certain found my knew jewelry place. The next time we came to pick out our bands I brought in jewelry from other places to have them refit, replace etc. I am so happy we have come to know the staff at Rumanoff's. I could not be happier with my experience at Rumanoff's. Before deciding to go with Rumanoff's for my fiancé’s engagement ring, I had been in to see a couple of other jewelers. To be perfectly honest, I was planning on using a jeweler in Fairfield on the day that I walked into Rumanoff's. However, Steve's no-pressure, kind, and empathetic approach made me choose to go with Rumanoff's instead. Without a guarantee of making a sale to me, Steve went above and beyond what would be expected of someone in his position. In fact, Steve went into the store on his day off just to wait for a phone call from me (I had not yet responded to an e-mail that he sent to inform him of the time that I would be calling). Again, the man went into the store on his day off just to have the opportunity to serve me. I ended up purchasing a fantastic diamond ring in a platinum setting -- a ring that my fiancé gets compliments on often. Steve had the perfect approach to doing business. My husband and I visited three local jewelers when we first started our search for our wedding bands after getting screwed over for my engagement ring from Kay's. Plus I knew I wanted to support local and knew we would get amazing quality - and that's best way to describe Rumanoff's is QUALITY. I got a wedding band that has diamonds half way around it to match my engagement ring and my husband got a tantalum, matte, black wedding band since he doesn't like anything fancy or flashy. These rings look so beautiful now that we get to wear them everyday! I visited Rumanoff's several times leading up to the wedding day and each time they happily cleaned and shined my engagement ring (which remember, wasn't purchased there). They even gave me some jewelry cleaner when we went to pick up the bands and also included a free rhodium plating for my engagement ring just for purchasing the bands there. This normally costs $50 but they wanted to include it so my bands would match perfectly when I started wearing the wedding band.
