Extremely dangerous and unprofessional!!!!

I was at this supermarket on June 7, 2025, when a ~2-meter ladder fell off a shelf behind me and the top of it struck my left shoulder without any warning while I was waiting in line to check out. The pain was so intense I couldn’t move and nearly collapsed. 911 was called, and an ambulance arrived.

What shocked me even more was how horribly the manager treated me — no apology, no concern, not even basic help. It felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience, simply because it was close to closing time (about 20 minutes before). Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me, saying I must have knocked the ladder over — which is absolutely not true.

My two kids were with me, and one was sitting right in front of me in the shopping cart. If the ladder had fallen slightly differently, it could have seriously hurt my child or my head.

The managers were rude and dismissive, showing zero accountability. This store clearly has major safety issues, and they do not care. It’s been days, and my shoulder is still in pain. We will...

I absolutely love the Patel Hamilton corner café area. It’s a 10/10 and the overall vibe is just super.

Constructive Feedback: I want this to be the go-to place. That’s why I’m sharing this feedback in the spirit of helping.

Compared to East Windsor, the food quality here feels noticeably different. When I asked the staff, they mentioned it’s the same recipe — which I completely understand — but the end result just doesn’t match.

For example: • Today, the samosas were dramatically different — frankly, not good. • The Dabeli and Vada Pav different than East Windsor. • Even the portion sizes "felt" different at least

Recipe alone isn’t the magic that delivers the same taste.

Appreciation of store and customer service :

I’ve been shopping at Patel Brothers for years, but since this location opened in accordance to my convenience, I always appreciate the service also, I want to give a special shoutout to Neel Bhai working in the kitchen area. He’s consistently professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. Whether it’s handling customer requests or managing the busy kitchen, he does it all with calm and care.

It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and you can see how much other staff respect him as well. Neel goes above and beyond every time, and his leadership qualities really stand out. Patel Brothers is lucky to have someone like him on the team. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a management role soon in order to do better for the company he seems dedicated for.
