Removed my previous 5 star review after my encounter with a staff member (owner?) yesterday. I had just come from my grandma’s funeral and was hoping for some info on programs. They were busy in the back, so once I made my selections and went to pay they pointed out it was a $30 minimum for the card. I only was buying a few items, so I said I’m sorry I don’t have cash, but let me see what kind of change I have to at least buy the tea bags. At which point this woman gets huffy and exclaimed “I gotta get paid too ya know! Just take it!” As if she’s doing me some huge favor. Having just experienced the death of a close relative, I wasn’t in the mood for her theatrics and I walked out, leaving her the money and the tea. She proceeds to chase me to my car and yell through my closed window, “OH COME ON!!” as I’m leaving. Thanks for your patience and compassion lady, perhaps you’re in the wrong business. I will not be returning and have already removed myself from the email list for future programs. As someone with an MA in Holistic Health, I would be appalled if I ran future businesses that way. I find the prices to be excellent in comparison to the internet and other spiritual stores in the area. If you are looking for books, they are for sale and for lending from the extensive library. If you are looking for a reading, spiritual guidance or a class, Kathy is the best I have experienced. Be ready to learn your truth, good or bad. Adorable little shop. They ask and offer you to put gloves on first which is very nice nowadays with touching all over things. The woman here is so very sweet and more then happy to help with anything. Has an amazing herb room with a great selection. Herb prices were very decent. My cat flips for the catnip I bought! I myself am a huge lover and buyer of stones. Didnt see a huge selection of stones and what I did see I thought was overpriced. Every stone I looked at was close to $300.
