Janes Ice Cream and Eatery — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

Hy y’all , this review is in partial reference to the lady who said the manger was moody or mean and rolled her eyes ' I’m not sure who she could possibly be talking about there’s a girl that works there and she is a manager also the owners brother and she takes her job very seriously , and I’m not an employee bu I’m there more then most of the girls that work there I frequent there very often and she’s never ever mean or rude to the coustmers and she treats her employees with the up most respect ¡ ! ¡ I personally love her and love coming there because of how my family and I are treated I purposely choose janes over other places in the area like the big * because of how the employees have treated us over the years I would recommend that place to any one also I’m not sure if they possibly were referring to the senior employee who also works there she can be mistaken for a manager but I feel exactly the same way about her she’s awesome like really awesome , also the food is amazing and it’s fairly priced for what your getting it’s really good food 🤙 also there are other places to enjoy like jimmys ice cream witch are all over Monroe county my phone is gonna die or I would write a book about how awesome they are but it’s gonna die lol love...

My family has been buying ice cream and food from Jane's Ice Cream ever since they opened. Their ice cream is SO DELICIOUS that most of the time you have to wait in lines, sometimes long lines, to get your goodies. The hamburgers/hot dogs/fries etc are very good and we love grabbing an easy dinner from them some nights! We have NEVER been disappointed with anything they serve; they are very consistent in their creamy ice cream and food! The only disappointment we ever experience is when they close for the summer 😢!

The cherry on top 🍒 😉 is that the owner and staff are ALWAYS pleasant and friendly. There is one girl in particular there who is incredibly sweet (I can't remember her name for some reason!), and we thank her for being so wonderful as well as hard working.

These people deserve every dime they make, they work their rears off!

Also, they have a very nice playground for the children who LOVE going there while moms get to sit and enjoy their ice cream. It has been a great place for chatting with people and my daughter actually met another mom and made a wonderful friend!

A real local secret !! You place your order & pick it up at the big windows. Eating is picnic tables with solid roof protection - it has always been this way (before Covid). Bring the kids - they'll love it!! They even have a play area!!(Bring the dog too - the picture is of our pup in her Halloween costume being eaten by a shark🦈). But it's the food - that is why you go there the burgers are seriously incredible & the fries are to die for!! We get the food to take home - the fries are gone by the time we get there - seriously eat them right away - hot - even the dog knows when we get in the car it's fry time!! Lots of yummies for the kids too chicken fingers to hot dogs & they love the burgers & fries too!! But wait, save the best for last - All the Icecream!!
