Went for full set of nails very picky about my nails but for Hampstead nails are very difficult to get done to find someone who knows what theyāre doing. Long story short. Very nice. Technician didnāt get exactly what I wanted bumpy three hours later the white acrylic paint that she used for the French tips is coming off did not use nail polish or gel used crafters paint, which I have never seen done have the nails are I was quoted $65 by someone the night before before I went in so obviously thatās all I was paying but the poor girl did work three hours on my nails as I like my nails very long which is not which a lot of people get done around here. Needless to say did not turn out very well. I really didnāt even think I shouldāve paid $65 for this. But someone quoted me that the night before I guess she was expecting more, but she was very pleasant and nice nothing but best wishes for her, but I will not be returning. When I saw the red color I asked what color was applied and she said the red one. I said that was the wrong color. She reassured me that it would still look good on me and not to worry. She saw how uncomfortable I was and kept reassuring me it would look good with my skin tone. I did not like it and it hurt my self confidence post-partum. I tried to correct with the business but the stylist said I was lying. The owner was combative and spoke down to me. I didnāt feel safe moving forward. Not a great experience from beginning to end.
I will say I had a good experience with a different stylist prior to this appointment. If you work with Kat just confirm your color before she goes to mix it. Anyone can have a bad day or make a mistake. Iām just very dissatisfied with my recent experience because this could have been handled much better...

I was charged $30 and she took my tip (why I still have her one, I don't know). I was so upset about my experience that I called the nice woman who worked at the desk (who I assumed was the owner). Well, she told me the owner is Donna! I couldn't believe it! She later called me and said she'd just returned from vacation and that I could have her re-do the haircut and that she didn't hold a grudge. Well, why would she? I did nothing wrong. She said she cuts hair fast- 7 minutes instead of my average 45 minutes. Hmm. I wouldn't go back. The owner taking the full price and accepting a tip for 7 minutes in what's supposed to be a nice salon!
