ALDI — Local services in Hampton Township

This place is great. Prices are low, produce is fresh, and there's a persistent paranormal vibe. I appreciate the loss-leader price distribution that makes things like eggs really cheap- these products are essentials for a lot of households and sensible pricing helps people afford what they need. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and the prices are unbeatably low.

I love the shopping cart policy: the 25¢ deposit ensures no carts are left around the parking lot and they don't have to hire a cart person, so their staff are payed better and their prices are lower. I also really like that they're expanding into more fresh foods and organic products in recent years in response to customer demand.

The place feels slightly haunted because the lighting is weird, the dimensions of the room are unusual for a grocery store, and it's dead quiet because they never play music or anything. But the prices are fantastic, so...

Wow !!! I was in Aldi today in Allison Park. First of all, our grocery bill at least doubled which I am not happy about and neither should anyone else. This inflation will have a major impact on the middle class. Can't imagine what the bill would be like at GE or Shop n Save. Secondly, one of the workers there told me that they will be getting 7 self check out lanes. When that happens, there will ONLY be ONE cashier ringing people out. AND these self check outs will ONLY take cards. NO CASH !!! People -once again - are being replaced. AND our cash money system is going to be gone sooner than you all think. You will be tracked at EVERY transaction you make at EVERYWHERE!! It's coming. Question is - WHY DON'T PEOPLE SEE THIS?? NWO - it's what they want. And a lot of people are too...

Edit 8/24/18...they are under remodeling the store so its a little chaotic and picked over. No fault to anyone just what happens.. Cant wait to see the improvements :)

Edit 9/2/18... Even with being under heavy construction they've really upped their game as far as keeping things stocked and fresh,all while giving excellent customer service. I love this store so much. Keep up the awesome work guys!!

1/19.... Forgot to review right after they were remodeling, but it's super nice in there now. I think a lot of people caught on and it's much busier now 😫 however, still great fast service, and awesome...
