My Wife & I ate at the "PRIMANTI BROS." Restaurant on Rte 8 Recently & We were BOTH Very Impressed w/ the FOOD & the SERVICE that We received. We went w/ Our Oldest Daughter & Our 2 Grandchildren. My Wife's Brother & Our Son were on the Construction Crew that helped build ANOTHER PART of a PITTSBURGH LEGACY. "PRIMANTI BROS." has been a HUGE PART of the PITTSBURGH Restaurant & Bar Scene for more Years than I can remember. This latest addition is a GREAT PLACE to stop at & ENJOY a delicious LUNCH or DINNER. Their MENU'S give You a VARIED NUMBER of tough choices to pick from & Any choice You make is a GURANTEED WINNER. We were there on a Friday Night & the Place was starting to get BUSY. Our Dinners were ALL COOKED to perfection & were VERY TASTY. Our Waiter was VERY GOOD at his job & He wasn't afraid to make suggestions from the MENU. He would come back to Our table FROM TIME TO TIME to see if We needed refills or anything else to make Our dinner complete. Big Screen T.V.'s keep You up to date on what's happening in the SPORTS WORLD. I do SUGGEST that You go EARLY, but whenever You go, You WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED w/...
Read moreSecond time at Primanti’s and second great experience. The food was to standard and made on-time relative to customer load. Our server really made the whole experience though.
We had a large party with multiple checks and as many young kids. Plenty of opportunities for headaches as a server. She immediately sorted us and got our orders in accurately, even letting some of the kids order for themselves and then double checking with us. She brought the kids food out first to keep them happy and then made sure the rest of the food got to the right place quickly when it all came out. Nobody waited for a drink or the checks when it was time. It was a thing of beauty, like watching a really good sushi chef. She even did a sweep of the table and found our son’s hat and caught us in the parking lot before we left to return it.
I do not say this lightly; she deserves a profit-sharing arrangement with the customer experience value she adds, if one isn’t already in place. I would do a backflip of joy every day until the end of time if I could find someone like this to run my...
Read moreI had family visiting from out of town. We came in around 7:30 on 11/26 with a party of 10 for dinner. The second I mentioned the size of our party, the hostess immediately became visibly annoyed. She told us we would need to split in two booths or wait 45 minutes. There were clearly open tables that could have been pushed together which we had suggested. She remained agitated and told us that it was not possible. The object of going out to dinner was all of us sitting together. She made it very clear that she was unwilling to make anything work but the two booths. It made the rest of the experience challenging because we had to keep leaning over the booth to assist the children. Her overall attitude was rude and inconsiderate. Our waiter could see that we were visibly disappointed and went out of his way to accommodate us. He did a fantastic job and had great customer service skills. A hostess makes the first impression on guests. I am very disappointed that we were treated in such a poor manner upon...
