They will answer you when on hold then put you back on hold. And the worst part. 2 weeks. 2 weeks of trying to get my medication through them and I'm completely out. They literally can't obviously communicate with each other and send me on a wild goose chase to try and get a refill of the prescription I've been prescribed before THROUGH THEM. So do not even both using the pharmacy here. I literally contacted them. Told them to call my pharmacy on base so they can get the prescription sent to them via fax. She said we will contact them. THE VERY NEXT DAY. I call them to see how it was going. She said oh we don't contact them. They contact us. Which confused me cause it sounds like the same woman. So I contact my pharmacy and my doctor. They said they contact the pharmacy on base and they will fax walgreens the prescription. I again tell walgreens to contact them to get the fax. They said OK we can fax them for the prescription which they sent a request. I get an automated message today saying the request walgreens set in place, I guess walgreens said no. I call them. TODAY. The lady goes it's denied cause it's a new prescription and a controlled substance. So your doctor needs to call us directly for us to fill it. I said but I was on this medication before through you guys. She says it's a new prescription from a new provider. So no I'm not planning on going through them again cause honestly they suck. Expect to get a call (when I had a refill from my first and SAME prescription) saying it's filled and it's not filled. Two other people also complained when waiting cause they got told it was filled and it's not. Took them HOURS to fill. One lady was in desperate need of medicine so her husband can live. And they said it was all filled only for one of them to be filled. So thanks walgreens for sending me on this goose chase for medicine I really need and I hope to God you don't do this to someone who needs medicine to be alive as they run out because you can't train your people to give the correct answer the first time. They told me it was a medication she has never had!!! It was a chemotherapy medication for breast cancer!!!! I live with my mother. I take care of her medications. So WHO did get it and WHAT insurance paid for it? I had not even been to Walgreens the day before! Then at the same time they told me she had 3 to pick up. That's all well and good except they (3 employees) spent 25 minutes looking for one of the 3!!! They couldn't find it!!! The computer said it was ready and she had a text saying it was ready. While 7 people waited in line behind me at 8:30 P.M. they looked! I finally was embarrassed enough with the other customers I told them to find it and call me in the morning!!! The employees were rude as if it was my fault THEY lost it. The employee argued with me about the one that I had supposedly picked up! I asked a question and was rudely told to just wait! Just because they couldn't find the missing one didn't mean they needed to take it out on me!!! I had been to Rite Aid, CVS, and Wal-Mart with trouble at all three! (Rude employees, medications not ready when they said they would be, LONG lines, etc). I was at the end of my rope. I had horrible experiences with Walgreens in Fresno so bad avoided them here. As a last resort I went there. I don't know what to do now! If they can lose one she needed tonight and say she was given one she doesn't even take I'm very concerned! Not just tonight but one man I dealt with this morning actually swore in front of me because he hit the wrong number on the phone even after I told him what to push!!! Read moreThis Walgreens is ridiculous 100% of the time but this last time just annoyed the crap out of me. So I have a balance left on my digital gift card. So the way it works is someone buys you a gift card and you use it digitally. You redeem it straight from the Walgreens website and can use it in store or online. They scan the barcode at checkout. That’s it. Not too complicated right? Wellll.. the guy at the front is obviously new and he scanned it in to purchase instead of scanning to pay. No big deal. He was nice but when he asked for help from his two coworkers one woman came up and was like I’m gonna be honest I’ve never seen this issue before and proceeded to scroll through the instructions on how to use it on my phone, which was super rude to begin with but also couldn’t follow the instructions. I’ll share the instructions on here because I’m sure you could ALL figure it out with no retail experience. So she’s messing around on my phone and just walks away.
