I'm probably the anomaly here... but I actually have no regrets going to McCann. In fact, it was one of the best choices I have ever made. I was in the massage therapy diploma program (which sadly isn't offered anymore). It was $15K. The recruiter made it clear that the credits were non-transferable except ONLY to delta education schools (basically other McCann's). It was even in writing. I feel bad for people who felt tricked. It's important to know what you're committing to when signing any contract. I felt McCann was very transparent; this was not like going to a community college. It was a 9 month program to meet the requirements necessary to qualify for the licensing exam. It wasn't a guarantee for licensing OR employment. That was going to be entirely up to me. I was able to get a 5K grant and a 10K student loan through their loan officer. I had great teachers and passed my exam with flying colors, launching my career as an LMT in 2013. My education paid for itself in the first year, and I was able to pay off my student loan in two, saving me 8 years' worth of interest. It has been such a rewarding career, and I couldn't have done it without my training at McCann. It's been almost ten years since I graduated, so I'm not sure what it's like now... but to anyone thinking about enrolling... make sure you fully understand the contracts, ask questions, and don't sign anything until you do. This school is not for everyone, especially if you have aspirations of going...

READ BEFORE CONSIDERING ENROLLING
Edit: after threatening to sue them they became much more cooperative and I now have my transcripts. Th rest of the review stays. It absolutely should not have come to this to get a simple piece of paper.
I started attending in 2009. Unfortunately my son died and the grief was too much to bare. So I stopped going. Not before spending thousands of dollars in courses though.
I have been attempting to get my transcripts so I can prove I took the classes and they will not release them. And are of NO help at all. This parchment site they mention is a joke and also of no help.
When I contacted them via their website I was clear on what I wanted. My transcript’s. Next thing I know I an being called 3 times a day. Not a single call was for assistance with my transcripts. Every call was them trying to get me to enroll with them.
Why would I re enroll to a school that refuses to give me transcripts for classes I already paid for. My student loans are paid off. I held up my end.
A little research that I should have done years ago before attending.
This school isn’t accredited.
There is at least one lawsuit out there to prove that.
Which is probably why they can’t give me my transcript’s because.
I wasted thousands on this “school”
Don’t do it. There are...
Read moreI don't know about any of they're other programs, but i can tell you if your looking to get your CDL i would recommend this school. Shout out to Rich and Jim these guy's are awesome CDL instructors. You will be stretched and taken out of your comfort zone, but it's for you to succeed. Tips: Do your research and learn what the CDL career is going to demand from your time and life make sure it is something you absolutely want to do. Once you graduate from the program your going to have to take whatever CDL job till you gain experience and that can look like a 2nd shift start time working 12-14 hour shift. Again do your research. Other then that i had a good experience with my training at McCann but not a good experience trying to land a job. Few companies will require that you have anywhere from atleast 3-6months on road experience, but most companies will require that you have 1-3yr on the road experience. I'll say it again, do your research. I hope this somewhat helps somebody or anybody who's looking to get into this career. Hopefully it gives you a bit more clarity to your desicion and puts things a little bit into perspective for you. McCann has a good CDL training program and i believe the lest expensive out of all the ones...
