GameStop — Local services in Hanover Township

I made my last trip I ever will make to this gamestop a few months ago. I was trading in my 3ds xl for the new 3ds xl while they were running an offer where you would get a higher trade credit. I wanted to purchase the new one before handing in my old one so I could transfer the data (I was doing it over WiFi so it was too long of a process to do in store.) I spoke with an employee named Carlos who told me that as long as I brought my receipt they would be able to do the trade in with the offer. Honestly, he seemed new and like he wasn't completely sure of himself (turns out he's one of the managers) but I made sure the next morning to call the store and ask if I could do what I had talked to Carlos about and was assured once again that it was possible. So I opened my new ds and did the transfer. I went back there and Carlos was there again. He then told me that I would've had to buy the new ds at the same time and trading in my old one to get the offer. I called another Gamestop and spoke to their manager who assured me that what I wanted to do was possible so I headed over to that one and he was able to resolve the problem Carlos had created. Thank you Jake from the Gamestop in the Lehigh Valley mall for helping me out. Will never return to the one in airport Plaza again...

I bought a BRAND NEW for $199.99 Nintendo Switch lite online for in store pick up. When I got home and opened it, it was obvious that the Nintendo switch lite wasn’t brand new. I called the store and talked to the manager and she said it was brand new, and she couldn’t do anything about it... if I would have wanted it used I would have chosen the used option for $179.99. My charger had a rubber band holding it, and no plastic bag. My husband got a brand new one from Best Buy so I can confirm that mine wasn’t brand new like it says. This is false advertisement. So if you ever go to this store make sure to open your “BRAND NEW” item in front of them to make sure they are new and NOT used like mine. Will definitely not be going back to Game Stop! This store was always my go to GameStop. They were always great until Yesterday. I went in to pickup my pre-order of Pokémon sword and shield, Once at the register I found out that my pre-order was entered incorrectly and I would not receive the double pack. The manager said there was nothing he could do and that the pre-order only came with a digital code as an extra. Not only did he flat out lie! (Pre-order came with said code, steel book, and a poster) but he was rude in the process. Being that this location is across from a Target I went into target picked up the double pack with no issue. Went back into GameStop and got my refund. I will never visit GameStop as long as they continue to operate. This experience was terrible and honestly the manager should be fired.
