I went in a week and a half ago to switch from ATT to Verizon and join my husbands plan. After not being able to decide which iphone I wanted to go with, the salesman said that there was a 30 day return policy so I could bring it back and trade it in. So I went with the 15, tried to get used to the small size, but decided a week later that I was not happy with the size and went in to return it. I was told then by the salesman I could not return it because I didn't keep the box- Something that was not disclosed or advised when I originally was working with him. He also admitted that this is not something that is "part of their normal schpeal". Upset that I am stuck with a phone that I don't like for 3 years, I left and called customer service, who advised me to go back to the store and speak with a supervisor as they still should be able to help me and return the phone. Well, today I went back and the supervisor was the most rude person I have dealt with in a long time. He told me that I am the first person to EVER try to return a phone without a box, confirmed that they do not disclose the need for the box in their script, and encouraged me to switch back to ATT. He (Sandy) was so wildly unprofessional, spoke to me so condescendingly. I am so upset and disheartened with my experience with Verizon and my local store. I would advise everyone to use a different store if possible. My husband and I will be looking to switch back to ATT as Verizon, BeMobile specifically, is not willing to work with us. So SO...
Read moreI am writing to write an absolutely 100% positive review for Taylor Rhoads, customer representative of Verizon in Hanover New Hampshire. Taylor epitomizes the highest standards for personable and well-informed customer service, and found me the best possible deals available, with the best plans and devices for me, my husband, and our livelihoods. Taylor not only had answers, or the ability to find the answers, he also listened with a keen ear to discern exactly what I needed. When I entered the store, I was not greeted at all for a few moments by his colleagues who were in the front of the store. When he noticed, he came to me immediately, offered me a chair considering that I was on crutches, and explained he would be with me in a few moments. His colleagues were not too happy about this and acted as if I was an unwelcome distraction in the middle of all of their much more important business with other customers. They might take a page from Taylor‘s professional book on how to politely and respectfully care for customers in the store. He managed to find 30 minutes to spend with me, and then made an appointment two hours later for us to finish the transactions. Every moment was easy, comfortable, friendly, and helpful. He made himself available with his work phone and email so that I could contact him at any point in time immediately after the transactions and in the future. Taylor should train future employees for how to properly support and care for their customers. In short, he...
Read moreFriendly and competent service from Heath and Stacey. I am an international student at Dartmouth, so getting a local phone number (and compatible phone because I needed one) was one of the first things I did out of quarantine. These folks made that experience pleasant and hassle-free. Tips for international students (specifically Indians): forex cards work for buying a compatible phone if you need one, but to put in the plan you need a US card or cash -- so if this is your first stop out of quarantine, bring USD cash. Don't be alarmed if Verizon assigns you a Vermont number. It auto-picks that at times since this place is close to the NH-VT state line. It won't affect your day-to-day at all, and your number works the same anywhere in the US. Verizon is a good choice for Dartmouth people, since it has excellent coverage in the Upper Valley, and this store is close to campus. For internationals setting up their life here, there is a Bank of America conveniently in the same building. McNutt Hall, where you get your Dartmouth ID, is...
