My suggestion would be to price your items to include the 10% deceptive markdowns and THEN.. ADD the SALES TAX also to sticker price so the customers know exactly what they are paying at the checkout. That method of adding the sales tax to the sticker price has used by many successful businesses. Imagine buying something for $1.00 and paying $1.00. Terrible prices. They will intentionally mark up prices and then put them on "sale" to make them seem cheaper when they're not. Today I saw some 10 packs of mini Coke and Sprite cans for $1.68 and thought it was a great deal, got to the cash register and they wouldn't scan. Manager or whoever comes out and tries to charge me FIVE FIFTY EACH for them. Says their vendor made the mistake. Any decent business would have honored the price on their shelves. For that price I could have gotten a twelve pack of normal sized Cokes, absolutely ridiculous. I'm not shopping...

Great affordable place to shop, the ladies that work up front are super nice and very efficient. The meat department has a very nice selection of meats and they have a buy 6 products for $20 program. The store is very CLEAN and bright, the shelves are well stocked. They have a great selection of products. Their pricing policy is you pay 10% over their cost to purchase the product and transport it to the store.
