Man, I'm kind of speechless with this. I order this leather acoustic guitar strap from this business, and it is absolutely beautiful. I was really impressed with. I asked for the Name and Quote option, and I was also wanting in small words on the back side to say "With Love from Dad" 2025. I told them to let me know if it would cost extra for this, and that if it did please just let me know and I'd gladly pay for it. Never heard from them on it but they did it for me anyways! From the photo's they use on their Etsy page, I was already a big fan of their staining technique and told them to please just stain it however they want. This thing is absolutely stunning! The craftsmanship and quality of the leather is amazing. The letters are perfectly spaced and the perfect size. The quote was short, but it too is just right to be easily read by people sitting close to the stage when my son plays. The small letters I asked for on the inside of the strap, they went above and beyond and made them a little bigger than I had initially figured I would get since it was a request. These guys do great and Amazing work. I would FULLY recommend this company to anyone. I also plan on coming back and getting a few more for my son each year with the dates on the back. And talk about speedy delivery! They should change their names from Miller's to Lightening Leather! I mean dang, they need to make a slogan something like "Miller's Leather Shop, We're SO fast, that the air passing by will strip your cloths off when we pass you! But hey, you get one of our custom leather belts, it'll hold them cloths on tighter than a hungry Boa!" The strap shipped the same day I ordered it. I was really nervous at first thinking, "Ok, maybe I did it wrong and they're sending me a blank strap. I almost thought about going back and ordering one for myself lol. But I play electric guitar and prefer a softer flimsier suede leather strap. I have 2, but not customized like this. Miller's!!!!! You out did yourself on this. I'll definitely be a returning customer! And thanks for the little extra on the inside of the strap. When My wife read it, it made her tear up a bit. Really,...
Read moreI write this post as someone who used to consider themselves a lifetime customer. My grandfather brought me to this shop as a child & I’ve been a customer since. I’ve since moved and was excited to get a chance to shop at Harvest Festival in Corning, AR while I was in town but unfortunately that’s not how things went down. When I first arrived to the booth the owners son was working and was on his phone nearly the entire encounter but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and after about 10mins he came over to talk with me and answer questions I had about the products. I began asking him about the handmade leather wallets, explaining that I’d had two separate ones in the past that lasted 8 years each. He was explained that they still do them as customs and in their shop in Hardy but due to his mother having breast cancer some things had changed. I understood that and simply stated that I noticed the quality in what was on the table at the festival was much different than the handmade ones I’d previously loved. The employee then exploded & started shouting at me “My mom had a double mastectomy and if you don’t like what we do then get out of here! I do laser engraving, if you don’t like it then GO! GO! Get out of here! I see what you’re trying to do!” I was literally complimenting his parents previous work and the durability and trying to inquire about getting another and this what was I responded to with. I understand cancer and hardships and in no way was I insinuating insult to anyone. I will admit I was not kind with my response but there was absolutely no reason for him to treat me in such a disrespectful manner. Multiple other customers were present and one even tried to help explain “He was complimenting your parents work.” I’m saddened to say I will never buy from a the place I once had found childhood memories of. Not if this is how things...
Read moreI bought a sturdy full grain leather belt from this man a few months ago and I'm very happy with the purchase. I picked it out, he trimmed it to the length I needed, punched out the holes then he finished the fresh edge with some black dye. And all for $29! Most belts of this quality are over $50 and aren't even cut to fit and finished right in front of your eyes! If you're in the area, or passing through like I did, step in and buy a belt! You won't regret it and you'll own something that will last for decades! And for the record, I'm in no way affiliated with the shop, I'm just excited about my belt. I realize how much this sounds like paid programming... But...
