I believe the excellent ratings as Ignacio Vega is a master at his craft. However, he also has terrible work and personal ethics. Mr. Vega doesn't respond to phone calls, voice and text messages, or completely no-shows for set appointments without excuses or so many excuses it's impossible to tell truth from fantasy. I pre-paid him for the required parts for my grandfather clock back in March with a completion/delivery date in a week. Since then - NOTHING.

Since this original posting Mr. Vega finally returned my clock mechanism. I wish I could report everything was resolved but that is not the case. The clock will not run, the selector switches (chime tune, night off, etc.) are missing. I immediately reported this back to Mr. Vega and he promised to come back to repair the next day. He failed to keep any of his scheduled appointments in lieu of going to other clients or repairing his mother's clothes dryer. He doesn't answer phone calls, voice and text messages. His claim of dealing with medical issues appears to be nothing more than an excuse and he thoroughly and completely lacks integrity to tell the truth, by making and keeping a scheduled appointment. The quality of his work is now in question. After performing simple maintenance on my clock now it doesn't work at all. Unfortunately my only recourse at this point is to report to the BBB and initiate a civil litigation...

I was actually recommended to this place if I could rate it a 0 I would. I brought Mr Vega our wedding bands because they needed to be repaired on 2/13/21 he said they would be ready in 3-4 days we’ll that took a month he had me back in forth with so many excuses.. I paid him half when I took him the items and he said I won’t charge you the rest for the trouble that I put you thru 😂when I finally went on 3/18/21 he gave me my rings (horrible job on my wedding band not what I wanted) he said “I know I said I wasn’t going to charge you but your husband ring had so many cracks so I have to charge you $20” mind you my husband band was broken that’s why I took him my previous engagement ring so he can melted down and use that to make his band thicker... overall this man does not keep his promise I don’t know how he’s still in business. His services are very appreciated due to his expert performance in bringing my clock back to its original state. I was looking for a person whom was able to fix my clock for over two years. Besides been recommended by a close friend, I requested Mr. Vega to explain to me the reason why my clock stop from working. He just not only cleaned, repair and service my clock, he also instructed me in how to maintain it working satisfactorily.
