I was unhappy with the service I got from the Postal service. On Thursaday March 14th I bought a refrigerate box with medication in worth over $1600. I asked for prices for overnight with all 3 postal services and it was $200 and above. I ask the clerk with was my options she told me the was 2 day shipment through UPS for $35. My daughter was on the phone listening. She told me it would get to Texas on Saturday. She never once told me she was shipping ground...which I order a lot of online order and I know UPS ground is 5-7 days. On Saturday we checked tracking and it hadn't delivery Monday. I at that point called UPS customer service and talked to them about the importance of this package being delivered in a timely manner. They told me I shouldn't have shipped ground. I told them I didn't I was told 2 days. UPS customer service rep informed me that they do not have 2 day shipping. And that this package hadn't left Michigan and it won't be in Texas until Monday.I was very upset. I went to the Postal store and voice my complaint. They called the owner. The owner lied and said she looked at the video and the clerk told me ground. It was a big untruth. She didn't see that on the video cause it wasn't told to me. The owner also told another lie and said the package would be delivered Saturday at midnight. Another lie! Today is Tuesday March 19th and the medication is still not delivered. This is the worst experience I've ever had and from now on will go directly to UPS or FedEx or Post office instead of going there. I feel I'll get better service and the truth on time sensitive deliveries.
So as you can see the owner instead of seeing where they can resolve the issue. They are blaming the customer in her review. This is not good customer service nor a good place to do business. This is why I will not go back...I'll rather go where I can get truthful delivery information. Again the package still hasn't delivered yet as of today! That speak for itself. I knowing would not have shipped ground if I wasn't told it would be there in 2 days...

I stumbled upon this gem of a shop after being frustrated with the long and slow moving lines at my local post office. I am so glad that what started as an inconvenience, led to discovering a quality shipping experience with exceptional customer service.
I walked into the very clean and well organized shop to find excellent COVID mitigation processes in place - from explicit mask requirement, to direction arrows for flow of customers, to items in place for the safety of the staff.
While this is great and speaks to their attention to public health, the shop shines in customer service and product offerings. The personable associate behind the counter was friendly and explained what sets The Postal Shop apart from other shops. By inputing your personal information, not used for marketing, this allows for when you return, your profile is set up and your transaction is that much faster. This also allows for saved frequent addresses for shipping and the ability to have undeliverable items returned to The Postal Shop if that should ever happen. She presented the options for methods of shipment with no pressure for choosing the most expensive carrier.
Packing supplies are in abundance here. You'd be hard pressed to not find whatever type of shipping related item you'd need.

Was just refused service after waiting in line for 30 minutes.
Per the purple haired manager, it was because there were two claims made on things I shipped through them and insured.. the claim I made on a basketball that was lost by UPS around fathers day 2020. And tool the postal shop almost a year to make right. Despite me having insured it and had them package it.
The only other claim related to me was a fishing lure that ups delivered to wrong address and the BUYER made a claim, not me. That was a couple weeks ago
Fast forward to today 1/18/22 she hears my name and says "No" and points to a note on the screen.
Apparently making claims when UPS loses your stuff ... is a big no no for the folks at the postal shop.
Do not utilize them of you wish to use the insurance that you paid money for I will happily be taking my business elsewhere and...
