The Hatfield, PA US Post Office is fraught with corruption. Dan, the mail carrier who "delivers" my mail, often steals my packages, particularly if they contain samples or food items. I spoke to the Postmaster and even provided tracking evidence on one occasion when a package went missing and was never scanned as delivered, and her response was, "can you ask the company to ship another package?" So that Dan can steal that one too? No, I can't ask a company to ship another package at their expense because your employees are dishonest. There is no accountability or consequences for his actions, so he continues to take what doesn’t belong to him. I am not blaming the employees at the counter who are usually pleasant and knowledgeable, but mail carriers like Dan are a great example of everything that is wrong...

For me, mistakes happen.. it’s the response to a mistake that matters to me. I had 3 packages being delivered. I came home to only 2, but online it said my package was delivered. I was so upset that I may possibly not get the package, I could have been refunded but I wanted to items. I called the customer care line and spoke to Raquel who was so kind and so helpful. She opened a ticket for my local post office, Hatfield. An hour later I got a call from a gentleman at Hatfield post office who investigated the issue and found that my package was accidentally delivered to the wrong address. I ordered a package to be delivered overnight. I was told if it’s late, I will receive a full refund. It didn’t arrive overnight, so I went back the next day to get my refund. Long story short, I had to keep going back every other day because the manager was the only person who could approve it in the system and he was never there. Seems counter-productive to only have one person who can approve it and they’re never around. Then, when he was finally there, they only give a refund in cash.
