Hatfield Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hatfield Borough

My husband and I have ordered here a few times since moving to the area a few months ago. The food is good so we ordered from them tonight and the food was good again, however I had an interesting experience with the service manager on the phone. We ordered two subs as it read on the menu and it asked what kind of bread which seems strange but having chosen different rolls for hoagies (white, wheat, etc)so we didn’t think much about it. When the food arrived we saw two club sandwiches and called to tell them the mistake. The woman on the phone told us that “for future reference a sub is a club”. They did bring us the correct food which was nice however we were left feeling confused, wondering are we in the wrong? I googled the definition of a sub sandwich and we definitely were not wrong. A sub is defined as a hoagie on google. After reviewing the menu again as I write this my husband points out that there are two sections for subs and one for hoagies ( at least with grub hub). Since the food is good and the order was corrected. In the future clarifying what a sub means to this particular restaurant will ultimately save them money and...

I've been going to this pizzeria for years. The pizza is good. I usually order a whole pie for take-out, and occasionally get a slice or two from pies already made.

The other day, I had an experience where I wanted to sit down peacefully after a hard day's work (I was hungry and tired). Although the pizza was fine, the experience was effectively ruined by two kids' behavior. I'm not talking about general kids' fussiness/rowdiness. I'm talking about kids running and screaming over the full length of the restaurant.

I contemplated saying something to the parents, but then I thought that this isn't my place. It's the restaurant owner's place to create and maintain a dining environment of his choosing. Another reviewer has even described this place as "kid friendly" (So screaming kids is a plus?).

We've ordered pizza for delivery from here once or twice. No problems with delivery like all the other reviews mention, but perhaps it's because we live so close. The pizza isn't my favorite from this place, but this time I ordered a grilled chicken and veggie wrap as well as a harvest salad with grilled chicken for delivery and it came right on time. The food was pretty decent; I especially liked the salad. The prices are also reasonable. I just wish their delivery drivers were a bit more friendly. They don't ever speak to you which I find very odd. Instead they just hand you the food and walk away, even when they're greeted and told thank you. I don't care that much because they did their job which was to deliver the food, but some customer service manners would...
