CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Hatfield Township

This place is a joke. Not only have I had to wait 40+ minutes at the pharmacy every time I come here, but now I can't even get my scripts filled properly anymore without dealing with their idiocy. They're claiming that my doctor (who I've known my whole life) called in specifically to cancel my anxiety/depression prescription I've been on for YEARS without issue. I literally just just had a telehealth appt. with him a few weeks ago and that was never mentioned to me. I told them there had to be a mistake with their system, and asked if I could get 1-2 day pill holdover since it's the weekend, and I can't call my doctor until tomorrow. They said no, they said it would be illegal to give me ONE pill of my mental health medication that I've been taking daily for the past 5+ years. Anyone with a brain would know you can't go cold turkey off of meds like that. So thank you CVS, I'll be sick and dizzy with brain flashes today and tomorrow. DO NOT GO TO THE PHARMACY HERE unless you want to waste your afternoon there. I arrived at the location at 3:50pm to pick up medication for my wife and was told that the prescription isn't finished yet so tech 1 will expedite the order and I was asked to have a seat and wait 10 minutes. About 15 minutes later tech 1 went home and 5 minutes later I overheard the other techs asking each other why I was just waiting there. This is when tech 2 asked me why I was waiting so I gave her the information for the prescriptions I was waiting on to be told that medication filling wasn't started yet and tech 2 will expedite the order again. I have had multiple problems with this location with pharmacy tech too busy talking to each other or other customers about personal business instead of doing their job or having techs who don't understand me or don't listen to the information I gave them ex: me: Last name is Helmes H E L M E S. tech: H O L N S. me: no H E L M E S. tech: H O M B S. Me: (yellling) NO!!! HHHH EEEE LLLL MMMMM...

I know it's not an easy job but the lack of professionalism at this place is wild. If they don't wanna answer questions they just lie shamelessly to get rid of you. Even at a corporate level. This is the type of business that only succeeds from a lack of competition and monopolization, because I doubt anyone would come here willingly if they had alternative options. I gave a 2nd star solely because a lot of the people whom I've dealt with over the years are great. That said, the ones that aren't are consistently rude and unprofessional.
