This is a cool hidden gem that leads to the great national park around the corner. Fun watching the boats going in and out. Nice public restrooms and good free parking. We heard that dolphins and sharks can sometimes be seen in the channel because of the scraps from fishing trips but we didn't get to see any. We did see turtles and dolphins in the NP area around the corner though.

I have had good "Bite Me" fishing charters, a wonderful night snorkeling trip with Jack's Diving Locker all out of the small boat harbor. I wish there was still a fresh fish market here. I miss the hustle- buscel of the morning and evening activity that is prevalent at a place like this.

The nicest spot to unwind and relax by the ocean on the Kona side of the island!!! The most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Off of the highway, it’s peaceful and the scenery is spectacular. It also has a dumpster for trash and restrooms for a quick stop. ⚓️🌊☀️

This is a smaller harbor, with a lot of construction going on. But, they make up for it with the companies that utilize it to launch for scuba diving trips. Included is an area to spray down/clean your boat and a small cinvenience market. Although it's small, the parking lot is plenty big and has good public restrooms - big enough for...
