Busy, but great! Fun having it at the stables, which are open to walk through and learn about the paniolos. The market vendors are spread out around the stables, so it’s easy to miss one or two as there isn’t a linear path to peruse them all. Appreciate having handicap parking spots near the front. Not much for spots to sit down. A nice mix of prepared foods, produce, crafts, plants, etc.

Worth the short scenic drive to Waimea to experience this Saturday Market. Bring your appetite, the selections are great and food is top notch. The pastries and breads at the bakery stand were fantastic as was the pad Thai and spring rolls at the Thai booth.

My family and I loved the snack stands, Aunty selling the freezer dried fruits was operating on Aloha that morning and gave samples with a free bag, I was so stoked to see Lock jaw was there - omg yes!

MUST VISIT when in the Big Island Up Country. Fastest growing market in Waimea with over two dozen vendors and growing every week. The Kamuela Farmers Market is an early bird market from 7am-Noon every Saturday. Besides all the great local vendors, you can get a tasty and cheap breakfast from Nakamoto farms - omelettes and Korean specialties - that hits the spot but not the wallet. For visitors, one of the great draws to Pukalani Stables is the heritage - Parker Ranch built this ranching gem over 100 years ago and has been fully refurbished by Paniolo Preservation Society (PPS). There is a charming Paniolo Heritage Museum open to the public (and free) on market days, and Master Saddle Maker, Pete Gorrell, has his Saddle Shop are open to the public too. There is also a farmers market on Wednesday from 9-4 at...

Great Saturday market. Lots of fresh produce, artisanal vendors and food trucks/stands. Made for an excellent little activity during our trip to the Big Island. We would likely had gone back again if we were staying longer and had accommodations with more fridge space. Still managed to walk away with some fresh produce, soaps, locally flavored balsamic vinegar and a locally...
