A bit of a nightmare. I was visiting Hawaii and was working remotely when I decided to pick up a mobile hotspot device from this store. The manager who assisted me was friendly and set the unit up for me. They charged me a setup and activation fee. She handed me the unit and sent me on my way after claiming that I was good to go and that I should be able to connect to the WiFi with ease. This was not the case.
The Airspeed unit hadn't been activated and so when I drove the 45 minutes back to where I was staying, I was unable to connect. I called support and after 2 hours of transfers and conversing, they sent me back to the store. I drove all the way back to get help and this time one single worker was helping a line of 4+ angry customers. I waited and ultimately found that she could not help me. She didn't know what was wrong. I asked to refund the unit and she said that she couldn't do that either because no manager was working at that time. She took my number and told me that a manager would call me. I was never called.
I had my issue resolved at the Verizon store in Kona. The issue was caused by the number assigned to me having been assigned to someone else at nearly the same time as me. The worker at this Verizon store by the name of Candy was able to solve this and was very friendly. Go to the Kona...
Read moreAloha, I knew what I wanted in a phone and somehow thought I could just pop in and snag it. Sadly no, so I ended up ordering an I-phone 13 Mini in red. After nine days with no call from my young Sales Rep, I couldn't wait any longer. I decided to get a more expensive bigger, smarter and much heavier phone. I got it home and had huge anxiety. I really messed up. After a night of no sleep, I drove back to Verizon and got there before opening. Thank God, Maile opened up. She looked at me and said "I knew that phone wasn't for you, your Mini came in last night. She put a smile on my face and reassured me...Thank you!!. All together the process took under two hours. In that time she gave me a great price on my new phone. She then changed all my old paperwork and and cancelled my other phone plan. In that two hour span, she thanked every customer that came in. Did here best to multitask and help them too. She also had me laughing a couple of times. Thank you Maile. The reason it took so long to get my phone was Verizon's internet service. Its a joke. It is so slow. There is no excuse for that, this is what you do! Thank you for taking the time...
Read moreYesterday and Today went to GoWireless (Verizon Authorized Retailer) at the Parker Ranch Center in Kamuela. My overall experience both times have been amazing and from having to be a customer from various Cell service providers/retailers, this has been the most positive if not best experiences I've ever had to date. Maile was my rep both times and I cannot describe in words of how wonderful and amazing of a rep she is. She is very knowledgeable, caring, funny, and her willingness to help you is nothing short but incredible. She is outgoing and her positive personality is infectious. She is exactly what you would want out of a customer service rep and when you have her as a rep you would hope that when you go to other places, other employees will be just like her. Her priorities to help her customers knows no bounds and she will go beyond to make sure you get everything you need. If you are a Verizon customer or deciding to become one, if you live in the area, I highly recommend you go here and if you want the experience I had, you personally seek out Maile as your rep. Again, Thank you, Maile for your kokua for me and...
