Paradise Sailing Hawai‘i — Local services in Hawaii

We had a great 9am to 1pm day sailing experience with Captain Eric, Yumi and young crew member on August 19,2019 The entire boat crew is extremely knowledgeable about the local sea life and shared information to educate and enrich the tour. As soon as we departed, after a great safety brief, we were offered a light snack of fresh pineapple and banana bread. The banana bread was terrific! Our first stop was snorkeling in a quiet cove, we were the only ones there and the snorkeling was great. Plenty of fish to see there! During this time, I got a bit seasick. Eric offered to return to port and then take the rest of us to another snorkeling site on the north end of the harbor.(Of course I stay, was too much fun to miss it.) We all powered through and continued south. On the way we ate lunch and enjoyed the scenery. We were all rewarded with a sighting of Spinner dolphins. We were able to observe their sleeping behavior as they rested and surfaced for air. The crew was very insightful of their behaviors and was very careful not to disturb the sleeping dolphins. After that we, were able to help raise the sails and sail back to the harbor to complete our day. It was a great experience and an excellent way to spend the day. Our AMAZING Sunset Sail Wedding! This is about a month overdue but life has been crazy! I however, should have done this sooner...Yumi and Eric are simply the best at what they do! We decided to have our small intimate wedding in Kona and we thought a sunset sail would be perfect. We found Paradise Sailing Hawaii and they were just amazing... Customer service is phenomenal and their catamaran is just beautiful. Eric, the Capt., kept in touch with us frequently all the way up until we made it to Hawaii. Had it not been for Eric and Yumi, we would not had known that our officiant just moved without telling us. That would have been an awful thing to have upon our arrival. Thanks to them, we had enough time to find someone else to do our ceremony. The food was outstanding and being able to bring our own drinks for the festivities was an awesome touch. We were advised that on the day of our wedding, it would be too windy to go out and we were able to perform the ceremony right there in the marina on board the catamaran. Everything turned out just as we wanted. Eric and Yumi offered to take everyone out on a sunset sail after the winds died down. We were not expecting all of this. Simply amazing at what they do..we will definitely book...

We had a wonderful day with Paradise Sailing! We wanted a private sailing charter for our party of 8 while were staying on the Big Island in Hawaii. Eric and Yumi's catamaran and their attentive service made for a perfect sailing tour.

Our tour was originally scheduled for a Tuesday but they were concerned that we wouldn't make it out of the harbor due to record swells. Rather than waste our time or cancel last minute, Eric called the day before and rescheduled for Wednesday to make sure that we'd get our money's worth.

They provided refreshments and some of the best banana bread I've ever had. Their boat is lovely and they are clearly putting a lot of thought into making it as comfortable and guest friendly as possible, with shaded seats and tables with cupholders. Our family had members as young as 3 months and as old as 88 and everyone was happy. We were able to spread out and assist with the sailing (which was a goal of several family members). They went out of the way, literally, to follow a whale so that we could see it breach and extended our tour by an hour. It left out of the harbor near Kona. You can't go wrong with Paradise Sailing. The business is clearly a labor of love for them and it shows in how they treat...
