Hawthorne Memorial Pool — Local services in Hawthorne

I used to love going to the Hawthorne pool as a kid, but now I will never go ever again. My husband took my 3 year old today & was disgusted at how all management did was yell & scream at everyone. I completely understand that rules are in place for a reason, but kids are also kids. My child was not getting yelled at, but for my husband to complain about other children getting yelled at??? BEST POOL I'VE EVER BEEN TOO. I LIKE IT BETTER THAT HURRICANE HARBOR AT 6FLAGS NJ BECAUSE IT HAS A WATERSLIDE THAT HAS ONLY A FEW STEPS UP WITH NO WAIT TIME BETWEEN SLIDES. I love using this pool! It’s always clean and there’s plenty of room for everyone. The staff and lifeguards are very pleasant. Bathrooms are adequate, they seem to be cleaner than last year. The snack bar offers a nice variety of food. Parking has not been a problem.
